The tour guide was personable and interactive which made the group of strangers bond. I highly recommend it and will return with my children. Any race or age group would enjoy this tour.

Wonderful afternoon in ATL!

jamyl_w, Mar 2026
10/10 experience! Our tour guide Jeff, was an absolute treat for this four hour experience. The bonus was a nice group to travel with as a solo traveler and having the charisma of Jeff as our tour guide made for a perfect afternoon.l! I've been to Atlanta before and it was really refreshing to see this wonderful city through a different lens. We learned a lot about not only the black history of Atlanta but different neighborhoods, and how Atlanta continues to evolve as a city. He was punctual, personable, and accommodating to time and space to allow us to explore off of the transport bus-really, time went back quickly! I would recommend to go for anybody new to the city and wanting a diverse and comprehensive view of the city!! Thanks again Jeff for a wonderful experience and perfect recommendation for my lemon pepper wings!! Boston, MA

Best of Atlanta!

Nafisa_B, Mar 2026
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the tour guide, and the opportunity to learn. Better than I anticipated. Jeff, the tour guide, was knowledgeable, engaging, had a sense of humor, and added to the history lesson. The tour makes you want to learn more about the places and people highlighted. Do yourself a favor and buy the slice of cake from the bakery on the tour. You're welcome! 12/10 and 5 stars. Would do it again and for a full day.

For the Culture

Cheri_L, Feb 2026
As a (metro) native, I’ve always wanted to take a tour of Atlanta to learn more about the city’s history. Being on my personal Civil Rights journey, this tour offered me so much insight on topics I’d only just heard of— from historical landmarks and civil rights activists, to black owned eateries and pop culture. Omar and Ebby were phenomenal “Journey Ambassadors”. This tour was one of the best I’ve experienced, hands down!

Informative and insightful tour!

Staci_L, Jan 2026
The tour was very informative, interesting, and insightful. I appreciated visiting local black-owned businesses (I will definitely return to Afro Centric Network!), leaning more about the HBCUs and how impactful Atlanta has been not only to the Civil Rights Movement but also to black culture!

It’s more than five stars.

Georgiana_H, Jan 2026
It’s was the best experience I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve learned more from this one day than any other experience in my entire life.Thank you so much for all the teaching and the pictures for my memories.

Greatest City Tour I’ve Ever Been On

Brandon_E, Jan 2026
This was the best tour I’ve ever been on in my life. Ibrahim and Dave are great guys. Ibrahim is a history expert that entertained and educated us on not only formal and popular history of the city of Atlanta, but also gave us local stories and personal experiences that made me feel like I understood the city of Atlanta way more than I ever expected to. Upon getting home I’ve already recommended this tour to my friends who are coming to ATL. This is exactly how a tour should be and I have zero complaints.

This Black History & Civil Rights tour was an incredible experience 🙌🏾📚. It was my first time visiting Atlanta, and the tour felt very personal and VIP — it was just me and my friend, which made it even more special ✨👯‍♀️. Our guide, Jeff, was phenomenal 👏🏾. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and shared the history with so much care and respect ❤️. The way he brought the stories to life made the experience both educational and deeply moving. This tour gave powerful context to the Civil Rights Movement and honored the history in a way that truly stayed with me ✊🏾🖤. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Atlanta — it’s absolutely worth it! Thank you Jeff for being a part of our Atlanta experience.

Patricia_M, Nov 2025
This tour was literally booked less than 24 hours ahead of time, and was one of the best spur of the moment decision I've made. With the numerous tours available in Atlanta and the limited time we had in Atlanta, we wanted to make the best of our time, and this tour fit the bill. It was very informative, and the wealth of knowledge of our Tour Guide E.B., coupled with his sense of humor made it so much fun!! Our only regret was that we weren't able to explore more at MLK Jr. Historical Site, due to the Government shutdown. But that had no reflection on him. We had no idea that Atlanta had so much influence on the movie industry. The group was small, but fun and engaged with our guide. My husband is still talking about the Carribean Food, he had for lunch at the Municipal Market. And that 100% Shae Butter that we purchased from the Afro Centric Network Boutique is already starting to work!! This is definitely a worthwhile tour, and worth every penny!!

Best tour in Atlanta

Brenda_c, Nov 2025
One of the most genuine tours we have taken. My husband and I love historical tours.. especially when a local guide is leading you. Thank you Jeff for a great time!
