Great Overall Experience!!
James and Kris did a great job! James has a wealth of information he shared with us - many little known facts. He was very cognizant of the group and how fast and long we could travel and when we needed a little break. Kris is a very safe driver and kept us on schedule. Overall you will see so many sites and learn so much on this tour. It is a great experience!!

DC by night a must see.
Very knowledgeable guide. Bus right to stops so walking limited but lots of ground covered. Great tour for early on in you visit, and let's you know what you might want to go back and visit in more depth. Monuments at night take on a new quality. Korean memorial a must see at night.

Great tour with Ryan and lots of history facts.
We had a great time. Ryan is an outstanding tour guide who had all the answers to our many questions. He wasn't political about anything during our entire tour, a rare thing I've found here in Washington DC. Ryan taught us many facts about the Supreme Court and the Capitol building. I enjoyed seeing the statues and the old senate chambers. The Court was closed because the judges were inside working.

Fabulous evening in the Capitol
The Heart of DC Tours was fantastic!! I’m So glad my friend recommended it. Our driver, Ken, entertained us with an amazing evening of light history information and interesting tidbits of current city happenings. He brought the old and the new together and made it a comprehensive journey through our Capitol’s history. He welcomed Suki (my service dog) and made her comfortable in the van. By evenings end, I’d see his hand reaching over to pet her as she lay between our seats on the floor. He opened The doors for everyone and helped me down ( I have to be careful when getting out of a van.) His gentle and kind demeanor made this a fabulous experience. The van held maybe 10 people. We had 7 people onboard. It was not over crowded and made asking questions easy to do and easy to hear the answers. He has you hook Into a site on your phone so that as you explore the stops, a 2 minute audio tells you about it. I was so impressed with this company and this owner/ driver, Ken. He grew up here so has 40+ years of life experience and knowledge of the changing times. Do this, you won’t regret it! Enjoy our beautiful Capitol! Tell him Yvonne & Suki sent you! 🐕‍🦺

The nation's capital boasts a wealth of monuments, memorials, and museums. That abundance can be overwhelming—but Washington DC tours offer an easier way to see the best of the city. Enjoy a flexible sightseeing experience when you travel by hop-on hop-off bus or trolley, or explore by night to beat the crowds and see landmarks from the Lincoln Memorial to the White House lit up after dark. Then, dig deeper: Whether you visit the US Capitol, explore Smithsonian highlights like the Air and Space Museum, or pay tribute at Arlington National Cemetery, it's worth stopping for a closer look.
