Intriguing and informative

Great experience. I took my kids on this tour of Fort Scammel. We left on time and enjoyed the short boat ride to the fort. Once there, the guide gave an engaging tour, detailing the history of the fort and the broader area. We got to explore the inside and outside areas. It was just over 2 hours altogether.

Ray was a great tour guide, and definitely gave us an authentic experience! The exposure to the different chowders (seafood chowder was incredible!) and the lobster roll with seasonal beer were fantastic. I also love a great dessert, and we had a few. You cannot enter the...

You cannot enter the lighthouse these days. Regardless, it is a beautiful view and the structure is well maintained. A small gift shop and 1-2 food trucks. There was a Gelato truck and lobster rolls/hot dog type of truck. You only have about 20 min at this spot. Our guide was great. The meeting spot was easy to find. The trolley was in good shape, everything was timely. We learned things/saw things we would have overlooked.We thought it was worth the $.

Great Crew and Cruise, despite bad weather

Our Casco Bay cruise with Megan and Colton was fantastic. The weather was grey, windy and then the rain came in, but we made the most of it! They had cozy blankets for everyone and took us to as many locations as the weather safely allowed. We learned a few fun facts about each site, and they were happy to answer any questions we had. We were able to bring our own drinks and food was allowed too! This was a wonderful tour, despite the weather and because of the lovely crew! Also: we accidentally double-booked for another cruise that afternoon and they were so helpful in allowing us to cancel at the last minute. Fantastic customer service and highly recommended!!!🙌🏻✨

This was such a great evening activity! The people operating the ship were very friendly and attentive, and I felt very safe the whole time! I went solo and ended up sitting next to a really awesome family- even invited me to dinner with them after! Was a wonderful night for a sail, and I’m so glad I went! 10/10 recommend!!

Ally (sp?) was a great guide on our tour of Portland (in the city) and a few lighthouses. She was very knowledgeable of the area and the trips to the lighthouses were especially enjoyable for us. Love the rugged coastline of the area. We did the tour in a comfortable air conditioned van and got out of the van to walk around at the lighthouses. Highly recommend this tour.

Loved the lighthouses! I only wish the tour had been longer—it left us wanting more. It was a fantastic excursion, and the captain and crew were absolutely top-notch: friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip so enjoyable. One more thing… my friend Dawn may have developed a slight crush on the captain. 😄 She wanted me to mention that if he’s single and looking for a fan club, she’d gladly take his phone number!
