Fantastic tour! 100% recommended.

We took this tour during our first trip to Washington in July and it was simply fantastic. It was one of the highlights of our visit and such a great way to see so much of the city in one day without ever feeling like we were just being rushed from place to place. We visited many of Washington’s iconic landmarks, including the U.S. Capitol, White House, Lincoln Memorial and MLK Memorial, and really enjoyed the cruise along the Potomac as well after lunch. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging and brought a lot of stories and fun facts instead of simply pointing out the sights. Everything was well organised and the whole experience was enjoyable from beginning to end. The bus was very comfortable too. For a family visiting Washington and wanting to see the major sights while also learning about the history behind them, we couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough. Absolutely worth it and a wonderful memory from our trip to DC!

I had Wayne and my guide...

I had Wayne and my guide and he was delightful. Very knowledgeable and full of additional info not necessarily related to the tour itself, but places we happened by along the way. He made it very fun and I had a great time. There is a fair amount of walking so make sure you're up on your caridio, but other than that it was a very fun tour. If ever I'm in the area again, I'd love to do another one of Wayne's tours.

Quick efficient tour!

We loved that it was a quick tour since we only had one night in DC. The ecart did have 3 people on each bench seat so it was a bit tight so you may want a different tour if you are on the bigger side. It was a quick information on each sight not a lot of information which worked for us. Our guide also had a heavy accent so it was a bit hard to understand but he was super nice and helpful

Exceptional Tour

Our tour guide was Evelyn with Unscripted Tours. Evelyn was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun to spend time with! She knew the Capitol rotunda would be closing, so she hustled us in for the last tour in the early afternoon. She also got us tickets to the house chamber where we saw two bills pass. In the Library of Congress she explained the sculptures, murals and mosaics on the walls and ceiling. She also told us so much US history and we learned so much from her.

The tour was great and Maurice was the best guide. They used the full time and we saw so many parts of the city while getting some time at a few spots to walk around and take photos. Ask for Byron the Entertainer

Our tour guide Byron the Entertainer made it so fun even though it was 90 degrees. I felt like we were the lucky ones for getting him as our guide. The tour included lots of jokes, sing-alongs and fun stories and was great for our family with young kids. Byron kept it light. The tour is a great way to see a lot of DC quickly and enjoy the sites at night.
