The clear kayaks were alot of fun. The tour was 2 hours or more. One guide Lilly was amazing. Lilly and Lisa were very welcoming. They explained what to expect and gave us bags to protect our phones from the water. Lilly spoke about the area and of course manatees. We were ablebto see 5 manatees close up, even though it wasn't manatee season. Lilly took us the Three Sisters Springs, we we were able to swim The water was crystal clear. It We had a great time.

Amazing!

Everything is just as beautiful and wonderful as expected. My husband and I had the best time thanks to our amazing and kind guide, Zack. He was beyond great, even paddled over to remove a piece of trash that he spotted on the bank. He also made us feel comfortable, educated us about the river and wildlife while taking his time and never once rushing us. He truly made the whole experience 10 times better! Thank you Zack!

Superb experience - would definitely use GoLocal and swim with manatees again!

Our guides, Tommy and Jessica, did a great job. Although a quiet season for manatees now, they located one pretty quickly. We arrived and were joined by a 2nd manatee. We were also lucky to be the only couple who booked that date/time so we got to spend nearly an hour with that pair of manatees - just floating with them, watching them eat, sleep, stretch and snuffle along. So amazing. We went to 3 sister's springs, too, where the water was amazingly clear. And we met another manatee! We would definitely recommend GoLocal. As everyone who works for them grew up in/around Crystal River their knowledge is second to none. They made sure we had the best time, gave us a little tour, and the picture were awesome to have. 100% recommend and would do again!

Five Star Experience.

We had a great day and our Captain Jake and in water guide and photographer Crystallynne were both 5++ stars. They found us a manatee and we were the only 4 people viewing him. They were entertaining, knowledgeable, funny and professional. The whole package! We would go back again to Natures Discovery in a heart beat ❤️

Crystal River with Captain Wade

Captain Wade was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable about the area and his love for it was evident. We saw a manatee and her calf which was a highlight of the trip. We highly recommend this experience if you want to learn about Crystal River and have an enjoyable morning on the water.

Worth adding this to your Crystal River visit

Really great experience with Captain Glen and our guide Michelle. It’s summer, so not manatee season, but they make sure to know the spots where you’ll still get an encounter. Got to experience a mother and her little calf grazing. Was a very cool sight and they let us stay with them for 30 minutes while they swam and the baby was curious swimming on each side of her mother to check us out. Then we went to see the spring and swim around for a bit. The gift shop is super cute and you can purchase pictures of your experience.

great tour

Our guide Shana and Captain Brody were wonderful. I will ask for them if we ever make our way back here. They found us a mother and calf to float above. When the mother and calf started swimming by we all followed the rules we were taught about not interfering with the manatees natural behaviors. They both brushed against me and one other in our group as the went by. This was unexpected and a great memorable experience. They were the only manatees we spotted but July is not a great month for this type of adventure. We will book again when the gulf is colder. Nature at its best!

We totally enjoyed our afternoon of kayaking. The tour was well run and sign in was easy with just a waiver to sign for each member of our party and a short video to watch. Our tour guide Ayanna was a joy! She was engaging, informative and made sure we had the best experience! We only saw one manatee as it wasn’t the “season” but she made sure we got the best view and pictures possible while respecting the animal in its natural surroundings. After that we swam in the crystal clear water of the river, a welcome break from kayaking in the sun on a 95 degree day. Ayanna also took lots of pictures of us as a family that were available to purchase at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend this tour as a departure from theme parks, shopping and busy beaches. In total it took approximately 2.5 hours.

Great experience

The guide Sara and our boat driver (sorry I can't remember his name) were amazing. Between the two they knew exactly where to go to make sure we were able to see the most manatee possible. The wetsuits are very good quality and thick enough to keep you pretty warm while in the water. They also take a lot of pictures and you have the ability to buy the thumb drive. The gift shop is really nice also. I would definitely recommend using this company.

Guide Storm and Captain...

Guide Storm and Captain Ryan led an amazing tour! It was a busy holiday weekend and they tried to make sure we were still seeing plenty of manatees, but respectfully. They were super knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and the entire tour from check in to finish was ran smoothly. Would absolutely do this again!
