Highly Recommend Private Tour with Alan!!
We booked a full day tour with Alan and enjoyed every minute of it. Alan contacted us immediately after booking to plan our customized tour itinerary which, for us, included the National Mall National Archives and Arlington National Cemetery. He also secured passes to the newly opened undercroft at the Lincoln Memorial. Alan is a wealth of knowledge and pointed out so many of what he calls “Easter Eggs” or special bits of information. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Alan and will definitely book him again on our next trip. Highly Recommend!

Great tour’
Safe driver…air conditioned van…very knowledgeable tour guide….comfortable van…and they gave us free water bottles during the tour to keep us cool. Steve is a great tour guide…he knows a lot about Washington, DC. Both he and his partner (the driver of the van) were very courteous and friendly. I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Washington, DC.

We had a beautiful day...
We had a beautiful day for our trip from Washington, DC to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. The scenic drive along Skyline Drive was beautiful and offered stunning views, and the cavern tour was fascinating.
Our guide, Galen, was friendly, knowledgeable, and organized, sharing interesting history and local information throughout the day. It was a full-day tour and even had time for a quick sandwich at Luray Cavern Cafe. It was a wonderful way to experience the natural beauty of the area.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to get out of the city and enjoy a memorable day in Shenandoah.

Half-day well spent
I recently took a half-day trip to Mount Vernon, which also included a bus tour of Old Alexandria, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish.
The tour was well organised, giving us time to see the highlights in the grounds, gardens, and house while still fitting in a relaxing and informative drive through Old Alexandria. The combination of history, scenery, and local insight made for a perfect half-day experience.
A special mention goes to Lori, our tour guide, who was absolutely fantastic. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the history of the area to life with interesting stories and great humour throughout the trip. Her enthusiasm really made the experience memorable.
Khalif, our driver, was equally superb. He navigated the busy roads smoothly and safely, making the journey comfortable and stress-free. His professionalism and friendly attitude added to the overall enjoyment of the day.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Washington area and looking for an enjoyable and informative trip outside the city.

No Fluff, Just The Facts
I thought that the tour to the Madison was very thorough. The guide Marjorie was knowledgeable and gave detailed information. She took the time to explain all facts.
The driver and guide Halper was knowledgeable about the facts of Thomas Jefferson. His driving ability was highly skilled.

Regis is Amazing 🤩
This tour was everything I wanted it to be! Regis was genuinely knowledgeable, fun and accommodating. The private tour is a bit more pricey, but worth every penny. We were able to see everything we wanted at our own pace, without worrying about the strict schedule of a group tour. We ere also able to see some monuments and memorials which usually aren’t included in traditional tours. We did this on our first night in town. It was so nice to get to all the major photo spots out of the way in one go so we could focus on museums the rest of our trip. Overall, I highly recommend!

Viewing the monuments at...
Viewing the monuments at night was wonderful! We did a similar tour during the day and the evening tour was a very different visual and emotional experience. Dwayne was a fantastic guide, so personable, knowledgeable and his voice was so clear and audible. Highly recommend!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Washington DC has a seemingly endless supply of museums, monuments, and major landmarks. Due to this glut of attractions, it's tempting to stay in town, but there are many reasons to explore beyond city limits, too. Washington DC day trips cover the gamut, including history-themed trips to former presidential abodes in Alexandria, vineyard adventuring in Virginia (one of the country's fastest-growing wine regions), and commemorative visits to Arlington. Then there is the colonial history in Williamsburg, wartime monuments in Gettysburg, and the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The moral of the story? Explore Washington DC—but don't stop there.
