Excellent Expierence

The ride to the park was very entertaining, and we saw quite a few bald eagles along the way. Sitting alongside the road, etc., not just soaring in the sky. I appreciated the history shared about the sites we passed. I always like learning the history of the towns we visit. Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Fun trip

It was a great whale watching time. Roomy boat and we saw several whales. Snack is just a granola bar and a cup of water. But staff were very friendly and informative. We even saw the glacier from the boat and they took pictures for us. It was a sunny day though very unusual they said usually can’t see the glacier. Glacier trip was a short bus ride after. Plenty of time to walk to falls. Fun excursion worth the money.

Although the day started...

Although the day started out drizzling, by the time the boat arrived where the humpback whales were, the drizzling stopped and we were able to see a mother whale and her two babies swimming around the boat. The captain knew where to whales would be and the two naturalists on board were very informative. It was an enjoyable day overall.

AMAZING excursion! Give it a try…you will NOT regret it!

Absolutely amazing!! Definitely worth the money. Highly recommend! We had an incredible time with captain Justin, Griffin and Ash! Beautiful warm day in Juneau. Hit 70 degrees. Saw approximately 14 whales. Was told that’s rare?!?! Actually got to see them bubble netting!! So cool. Then the pod swims under our vessel to the opposite side. Blowing so closely loudly and hard, that we literally smelled their stinky breath! Justin and Ash were amazing guides! Loved every minute of this excursion.

Amazing! Epic!

This tour was so well don, if I could give it a 10/5 I would. The staff were so knowledgeable! Our naturalist particularly was amazing and interactive! The perfect amount of time at each activity. We were blessed with amazing weather, tons of whales, sea lions and even got to see bubble net feeding!

We were a little on the fence about booking this because we had already scheduled some excursions for our stop in Juneau. It was going to be a long day for my kids, but at the last minute we decided to go for it. I am so glad we did! This was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. Our helicopter ride was so smooth and our pilot Alex was amazing. He was so kind. He patiently answered all 1000 of my son’s questions (ha!) and took my kids and I exploring all around the glacier. There isn’t much out there that can compete with the view from the top. It is breathtaking! Coastal Helicopters is incredibly professional and well run. We would 1000% recommend this activity to anyone and everyone!

Amazing Experience!!!

The views of the glaciers are just something you can’t put into words. It felt like we were in a National Geographic documentary. The whole family absolutely loved it!! HIGHLY recommend!! It was SOOOOO much better than the view from the cruise ship. And Jon was an awesome pilot and tour guide on top of it all!!

Majestic Ice

While I would have liked to witness the glacier decades ago as it was spilling into the lake, it was still a majestic sight. Getting good views of the glacier itself and the falls was easy. Even on an excellent weather day like we had (clear skies and ~70°), the park was not that crowded and easy to move about without bumping into others. The visit provided an easy afternoon, beautiful nature view, and a good walk to stretch the legs. Recommended.

Rare Bubble Feed Sighting- so awe Struck

Takes a bit to actually get organized for buses and onto a boat. Boat ride out is long. Channel the whales are was beautiful. We saw large pod of whales up to 20. They were doing a rare event called “Bubble Feed”. So awesome!! The naturalist and biologist boat drivers were in awe themselves. Once on a life time event.
