When you book online, you will need to check in at the kiosk to obtain boarding passes. Plan a few minutes to get to the front of the line if you want to sit at the front outside area of the boat for unobstructed views and pictures. The tour narrator was very knowledgeable and funny. This was our first visit to Newport. We are so glad we took this tour.

Fantastic way to experience Newport!

Lovely experience! It was great to see the crew navigate through the wharf and work the sails. The captain and crew were very personal and professional, chatting with guests and answering questions. Special shout out to Hope, who was willing to help us with a special request to help us with our t-shirt photo contest! The drinks options for purchase were nice, with a wide selection and you could purchase tickets ahead of the cruise, which was helpful. This turned out to be the favorite part of the trip for a number of people in my party. Highly recommend.

Great experience and wonderful crew

The crew was wonderful. The trip itself felt a bit short and we were really far away from the mansions from the sea. I would still recommend since being on the boat was so fun, but adjust your expectations if you were hoping to see some of the mansions from the water

Our driver/guide was fantastic. Unfortunately we can’t remember his name but he grew up in Newport and is a retired history teacher. In addition to being a font of local history, he showed us several beautiful spots in Newport (state parks and such) that are free to visit and have parking.

Despite limitations, sailing is best

It is wonderful to go on a sailing as opposed to motor tour, granted we were only able to beam reach for a short interval, the wind conditions not suitable for a tour with an itinerary and a time schedule, just to watch the crew actually SAIL the vessel was a real treat for someone whose experience of sailing is mainly limited to Sunfish and the like on inland waters. The crew were kind and charming; they certainly were enthusiastic about setting up the bar, I only wish my age and medical condition allowed me to thus gain further enjoyment from the journey. I only wish we could have seen more houses, but obviously we had a timetable, and were mostly becalmed throughout. Nevertheless I do not regret sailing at all--there is something magical about being on the water with no sound but that of the wind and waves, a timeless realm that disappears once the engine starts.

Core memory of our trip to Newport

I LOVED this cruise! The guide was so informative, upbeat and funny. He made the whole vibe of the trip familial and funny. I got a mudslide, and they did NOT skimp out on the alcohol. My son got the Dell’s frozen lemonade and loved it. Beautiful views and a gorgeous sunset. We got to see three lighthouses and take the best pictures. Loved this experience!

Amazing way to see Newport

We were in Newport for the day as it was a stop on our cruise. We were so happy that we decided to take this tour to see the city vs a more traditional bus tour. Nick, the owner of the Company was our guide and as a native of the area, he knew every site as well as out of the way places that you would never see on a big tour bus as the areas would not be accessible. It was an amazing couple of hours as we enjoyed the beautiful weather and the sites as well as sites that only would be known to a true local resident like the salt tides, out of the way beaches, etc. I would highly recommend this tour as the perfect way to see Newport.

Great experience. The crew was so friendly. The perfect cool down for a hot summer day!! Easy check in process, right on schedule day of, great drink offering. The crew did point out some attractions along the way but really just let everyone enjoy the time on the water.

Wonderful, sunset cruise

My daughter and I went on the 7:30 PM sunset cruise on July 3 and had a wonderful experience. We got beautiful shots of sunset and sailboats while enjoying a seven dollar cocktail Way cheaper than New York and New Jersey prices! The crew members were very friendly and overall a great experience.

Had a great time!

The boat only goes fast for a few minutes so you’re only cold then. We loved the stories about who owns the fancy boats and how much they’re worth! And the educational info about the hurricane. It was the perfect amount of time too, not too long but didn’t feel short either. I think my favorite part was learning about Ida!! Such a heroine!
