What are people saying about Chicago

Beautiful view of the city.
I thought this tour was great! Packed with information about the city and perfect views of the skyline. One improvement: Maybe give out a map that names all the buildings along the river. That way, while the guide is talking about a particular building you can identify it on the map. That would be helpful when trying to identify the buildings as you walk around the city. But overall, totally worth the money.

Just buy the ticket
Todd was excellent! Pay attention and ask questions because the tour guides are very knowledgeable. The scenery up and down the Chicago river is unmatched. The unique architecture and stories behind them are incredible. The boat is not fast, so take your time looking up and down each building. Sunset is the best time to go! Everything was lit up pink for Dolly Parton as well.

Great, except if you have trouble walking long distances
Excellent! Our volunteer narrator's comments were interesting and folksy, with fun anecdotes about particular buildings. My only negative content is that getting there is very difficult for those with mobility issues, having to walk so far along the ramp. Perhaps directions coukd be provided on the web page fto privide to taxi drivers to drop off passengers in the parking garage area nearest the ticket booth (Dock 2?)

This was the perfect...
This was the perfect activity for us to enjoy the stunning city views on a late summer day on the water and to learn more about Chicago and its fascinating architectural history. Our guide was engaging, the drink bar was a nice perk as we had been and continued to tour and play in the city. Highly recommend

Lake Michigan is cool, but most people say Chicago’s crown jewel is its architecture. The city has countless ways for you to immerse yourself in the subject. Take an architecture-themed river cruise or walk to see the buildings that make the Windy City so iconic. Some tours even venture through the Pedway, Chicago’s underground pedestrian tunnels. Alternatively, ride the “L”—elevated train—with a guide to learn about famous architects like Frank Lloyd Wright or board a double-decker bus to take in the historic structures. Chicago architecture tours will leave you with a profound appreciation for design.
