What are people saying about Pittsburgh

Ask for George!
George picked us up from our hotel. He is a wonderful guide. He was able to tell us the history of Pittsburgh as well as explain how the city has changed over the last few decades. His knowledge of Pittsburgh’s sports history can’t be beat. A highlight was seeing the spot where the Immaculate Reception took place. George kept my child entertained and engaged the entire time.

Walk the Burgh Tour: highly recommend
The Walk the Burgh tour was outstanding! It was incredibly well-organized, and we got to see so many cool sights. Our guide, Ken, was fantastic—he was super knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories about Pittsburgh’s historic buildings. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city!

Amazing intro to Pittsburgh
We had not experienced Pittsburgh before yesterday. What an amazing city! Our driver Colin and the host who pointed out all the sights (can’t remember her name..) were great. So much wonderful architecture, parks, history (think Heinz, Carnegie and Mr. Roger’s) to explore. Highly recommended!

Tasty food and unexpected treats
Rob did a great job taking us to some great local establishments and imparting interesting local history at the same time. We expected to hit Primanti’s, but meeting Christos at his Greek restaurant was awesome. And concluding the tour with a visit to the Printl bakery inside the elegant William Penn Hotel was a stroke of genius. I highly recommend the tour.

Fallingwater and Surrounding Area Tour
My guide was sensational, full on and very knowledgeable. He mixed a number an events and people to create a dialogue which covers the subject matter you are wishing to know about. Additionally, the historical backdrop of USA in the region supplied a further contextual scope.

Great Tour, Even Better Tour Guide
Our guide John was an absolute delight during the tour. Very professional with some good jokes throughout. Incredibly knowledgeable even with some difficult questions. Hands down he’s the reason why we’d come back. I was a little disappointed that the tour was not so much focused on the whiskey rebellion and prohibition as advertised. While about 50% of the tour did cover those topics, the other 50% was made with historical Pittsburgh facts. Overall I’d recommend the tour to others but would like the title of the tour to be changed or more focus on those 2 eras.

Great way to learn about the history of Pittsburgh!
We had a thoroughly enjoyable time getting to know Pittsburgh on a bike on a beautiful day; it was one of our favorite activities of our little getaway trip to the city. Doug was an excellent tour guide sharing his knowledge about the city with all of us. We highly recommend taking this tour!

Great experience at Wigle! Will be back!
Gail was both educational and very entertaining! The samples were varied and delicious! We loved the 25% discount offered on the gift shop items and took full advantage buying some great souvenirs! Jenna, the bar tender, was very helpful picking out and mixing our complimentary drinks!

Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of three rivers—an apt metaphor for a city that is simultaneously gritty and cultured, industrial and artistic. You can learn about the history of steel production or the 18th-century Whiskey Rebellion, followed by a stop at the Andy Warhol Museum or an excursion to see one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most famous architectural creations. Pittsburgh tours allow you to explore (and embrace) multiple facets of this vibrant city in one trip.
