What are people saying about Providence

Fun and informative tour!
We had a fun and informative tour of Providence, led by John, who was a fantastic guide—engaging, knowledgeable, and easy to follow. The tour itself was a great length, though we definitely could’ve used a bit more time at the first stop to fully enjoy all the culinary goodies. One thing to note: the meeting location was changed. Thankfully, we received a call ahead of time, but some other attendees hadn’t, which caused a bit of confusion at the start. It was the first tour of the season, so a few small kinks are understandable—and honestly, they didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment at all. A great experience and well worth it!

Cait made the experience...
Cait made the experience fun! We learned alot, it was well paced, we got to see beautiful architecture and learn about the city too. She was personable, funny, and made the tour fly by! I would absolutely recommend checking out next time you are in the area.

This was a very good tour. Catherine, our tour guide, was very enthusiastic, and she provided us with interesting information regarding the history of the Federal Hill community in Providence, Rhode Island while we toured the area and comsumed great tasting food. Further, if she did not know the answer to a guest’s question, she took the time as soon as possible to research the question and provide the guest with an answer before the tour ended. I have certain dietary restrictions, and Catherine communicated with the various restaurants who made changes to their menus to accommodate me with great tasting food I coud eat.

This was a very good tour. Our guide provided was very enthusiastic, and he provided us with great information regarding Rhode Island’s role in the formation of America, including the American Revolution, the industrial period and the gilded age. My only constructive feedback is that both Apple and Google Maps could not pinpoint the exact tour meeting point location. Fortunately, the onsite representative called to locate me, and I could actually see him a block away from me.
