Wry nice afternoon on the water. No whales, but we did experience an amazing pod of dolphins! A nursery pod with so many babies! Staff was knowledgeable and attentive. Thanks for all of the knowledge about not just the sea, but all of the landmasses, too! We were in the tour with a group of special needs adults and the staff treated them with the utmost respect. Another wonderful experience on the island

This was my second time going on this tour in Catalina island. The road is bumpy but the views of mountains, island is spectacular and there is a chance to see wildlife animals too. During my previous visit we did not see any bison but we saw little foxes. During yesterday’s tour our group was lucky to see bisons both from long and close distance. No foxes this time but that is fine with me as wild animals are not supposed to sit and wait for tourists all the time:) The guide Oscar was very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable guy and the driver was very good too. Thank you for another wonderful experience!

Horseback Riding Experience

We had a really great time on this one-hour horseback riding experience at the ranch! My horse was absolutely adorable, and the lady at the entrance was very kind and welcoming. One of the guides also kindly took some photos and videos of us, which was a really nice. One thing to keep in mind is that you cannot bring any bags with you, not even a small fanny pack, so I recommend wearing clothes with pockets to keep your phone with you. The only downside for me was the group size. There were around 20 people, which felt a little too large for this type of activity. A smaller group would have made the experience feel more personal and enjoyable. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend it !

Great family tour

Stops were very enjoyable with enough time to explore the sights and get souvenirs. The driver, Talib, was entertaining enough to keep my kids engaged and very knowledgeable about the area. This is a great tour to see all the highlights of the city without having to search for parking or wonder what is important to see in the area. For reference, my kids are 10 and 15, and both said how much they liked this tour. I definitely recommend it!

Our tour guide, Steve, was amazing! He was kind and thoughtful, and even offered to drive us to a specific viewing spot. Steve also offered the group cold water bottles, which we greatly appreciated. Steve was insightful and provided unique and entertaining information about all the places that we passed and stopped by. Overall, my trip mate and I genuinely enjoyed the entire trip, and highly recommend it to others!!!

This was so much fun! We went on Friday 8/14 and Adam was our driver and tour guide and we loved his enthusiasm and fun personality! He told us lots of interesting things about the area and made a point to ask us questions and make it an interactive experience. He also took his time to make sure everyone got the photos they wanted. He had great tips for how to pose/where to stand and took excellent photos. We were stuck in some traffic and he didn’t get frustrated, just kept on telling us fun facts about the area and making jokes. I went on this trip with my son and we made some great memories! Wonderful experience!

Very easy to find the meeting location. We arrived by ferry from Long Beach, and it is on the very recognizable green pier in the center of Avalon. I do not know where cruise ships tender to, but I think it would be easy to get to from there as well. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the sea life local to the area. We saw a TON of fish, a sea lion, and even a sea turtle! Of course, experiences vary, but it was a highlight of our entire vacation. Please note: there is the opportunity on board to purchase separately fish food to fire out into the water to attract fish - cash only and ranges from I think $3-25, depending on how many shots you want to fire. I would recommend doing that, though, as it brought a ton of fish over - totally worth it, but just factor that into your cost up front.

Make sure to get there early for parking. The place was really easy to find the staff were really helpful. There’s a treasure hunting app that you can download when you get on the paddle boat. Make sure the lifejacket that they give you fits if it doesn’t let them know, and they will kindly give you a larger or smaller life jacket.

Fun day with the family

Last minute activity with family who is visiting and they loved it. I would go only if you really are a fan of whatever movies/shows they are known for. The whole activity was more like ~5 hours because we liked walking around and did buy a few souvenirs at the shop. It was a very hot day and you could bring a water bottle with you on the tram tour. Also remember to bring a hat and sunglasses.

I had an amazing experience with Anthelion Helicopters! It was my first helicopter ride and definitely unforgettable. The views were insane and seeing the coastline and city from above was something I’ve never experienced before. The ride felt smooth and safe the whole time.
