Just do it!

My family and I did this tour while we were in Chicago this past weekend and we were very happy with our experience. Sue was our guide and she was a wealth of knowledge. You could really tell that she enjoys her job. Before we got started, she made sure that everyone in our group was accounted for and even went out of her way to ensure that a few unintentional latecomers were able to jump in without disruption. She was well-prepared with anything we would've needed like wet wipes, hand sanitizer and even a Tide pen! All of the food options were amazing, with the Lou Malnati's pizza being my favorite dish. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chicago! You'll feel like a local for a few hours. :)

Interesting Day of Culture, History, and Food!

Alex was a fabulous guide. He was personable and interesting. He shared all kinds of information about the Chinese food, history, and culture. He kept everyone engaged and was loud enough to hear him and handled a group of 13 people extremely well. He worked very hard at keeping us on our timeline by contacting the restaurants ahead of time to let them know our timing. He tactfully gave people the appropriate prompts to keep the large group moving. The food was delicious and we appreciated the many back stories about our food dishes, the restaurant owners, and the history of the buildings. Alex was very down to earth, warm, and friendly. He was very open to our many questions and shared many personal stories about China and Chinese culture to enhance our knowledge during the tour. We have done many food tours and he was one of my absolute favorite guides! Our afternoon just flew by and we learned so much!

A Delicious Tour Filled with History, Great Food & Generous Portions!

Brayden was an amazing tour guide. He provided lots of relevant information and interesting facts that brought Chicago's history to life. The food tour exceeded my expectations. I've been on many food tours where the portions were quite small, but this tour was completely different. Every stop provided generous portions, along with a bit of history and background about the food and area. You definitely won't leave hungry! You'll leave with a full belly and a much better understanding of Chicago's history and culture. A must do if you're ever in Chicago. I highly recommend this tour.

Come hungry, great tour!

John had a vast knowledge and great relationship with the people at the places we went. He took us to 4 different pizzerias, each different styles. He checked for any food allergies and arranged the pizza orders accordingly. He knew so much about the origin of each of the restaurants and it was clear that there were more places we could have gone so we are considering doing it again!

Best Tour of my trip

Nick is an amazing tour guide. You can tell he loves his job and the donuts. Everything was great I would say maybe add less Churro or old fashioned type donuts. I think a bit more of the stuff you can’t find at Dunkin would put it over the top.. Again just my opinion. ;) But Nick deserves a raise he really had good humor and very great stories and advice about the city.

Awesome tour

Fran was fantastic! Even though we were cold we still had an amazing time. Be sure to arrive hungry and enjoy the food and sights. A bonus is the expedited access to the Christmas market. We enjoyed pizza, chicago dog, Italian beef, the original brownie, popcorn and apple cider. This tour alone marked off all of the Christmas sights and food on our list. Thank you for making our trip memorable!

This was a great way to...

This was a great way to see the city, have some tasty bites, and get a little light cardio in for the day. I’ve been to Chicago many times and hardly ever leave the loop so it was great to see the neighborhoods. Wyatt was a great tour guide and had fun facts plus music trivia, as well as the info about the food we were eating. For a four hour guided tour, bike rental, and what amounted to a full four course lunch, this was reasonably priced.

More than just food, great stories & info

Along with the food, you get stories and info about the food, and great general info about Chicago. More than enough food to be a long lunch. Lots of walking but plenty to see and stories enjoy along the way so it goes by easily. End of tour is different location than starting point (20 min walk away), so plan accordingly when considering parking or your next activity. We had a great time.
