Afternoon on the Verde Canyon Railroad

We really enjoyed our trip on the Verde Canyon Railroad! We booked the train trip and lunch at the depot. We had a nice lunch and then walked through the gift shop. After lunch we boarded the train. Our trip started off with a champagne toast. The train car was very comfortable and it was fun to go outside and enjoy the open air car as well. The scenery was beautiful and our tour guides Anthony and Byron were awesome! They were very knowledgeable and they both had a great sense of humor. They told us about all the sights we saw and some history of the area. On the way back to the train station we enjoyed our complimentary charcuterie trays and a cup of coffee. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon!

This was so much fun!! I took my 10 yr old grandson who hadn’t done this before and barely been in a horse and he had the best experience! It was riding up some inclines, down the other side, through the river and through a beautiful area. Everyone was so kind, helpful and just created a great, safe environment.

Nice and Relaxing

We took a relaxing Starlite Ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad. We booked the first-class seats through Viator for 4 people and they sat us together on two, two-person comfy couches facing each other. We had meal vouchers so upon checking in we were able to order a sandwich, side, and a drink, which we ate prior to boarding, so glad we got there 1 hour before. We all decided on the Turkey Sandwich which was HUGE and delicious. I wish I had taken a picture of the menu. There were probably about 10-12 choices. Upon boarding the train there was a charcuterie plate, waters, and a bottle of champagne per couple. There was a bar in our car and Shay was a great bartender who we ordered our drinks from. There was plenty of time and room to visit the open-air car that we did periodically during the trip. Craig was outside narrating what we were seeing or about to see. Not sure how he has his voice after leaving for the day. It was a little cloudy and a full moon, so were not able to see many stars unfortunately, but still enjoyable.

Just so much FUN!

Thank you, Jordan for the funnest afternoon exploring the backcountry of western Sedona! My first time on an ATV and I felt like I was in great hands. We got our gear and had a brief training session and we were on our way. Jordan was a great guide making sure we had ample stops for water breaks and photos. He’s also very knowledgeable about the ecology of the area and we learned a lot while having a great time and getting up close and personal with these gorgeous red rock formations. Thanks so much, Jordan!

This was amazing from start to finish! Our tour guide, Alec, made this a fantastic experience. He made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying this experience. Great tour to see Sedona

This tour is a great way to see and learn about all of the sights around Sedona. The amount of walking is minimal and not strenuous. We did get a chance to stop and purchase lunch and were given discount coupons to use which was cool. Plenty of water available during the tour and multiple chances for bathroom breaks. This is a wonderful tour.

Our tour guide Kelly was phenomenal. Ask for her if you can. Being a former National Park ranger at the Grand Canyon, she had so much information about the area, animals, Native American history and what to expect at Antelope Canyon. We highly recommend this tour, a must if you are in the area of Page AZ. Antelope was an experience you will not forget. It was a one of a kind canyon.

Hold on! It's still a bumpy ride!

This was a great ride with beautiful views and an informative driver. We opted for this due to recent shoulder surgery and could not do the "bumpy" one. It was still a bit of a wild ride but not compared to the traditional jeep tours. I highly recommend you wear a hat, dark shorts (not white) and possibly a bandana for your face if you're sensitive to breathing red iron dust! We were covered in dust from the vehicles that were in front of us. Go early, avoid the heat and traffic. Our guide was great and funny. I highly recommend this tour!

Amazingly fun experience! Chris was our tour guide. He was full of interesting information. Even took great pictures of our family and showed us camera tricks for making great photos! The ride was thrilling. He was super nice to our 2 sons. I gave him a tip of nearly everything in my wallet. He was the best!
