This was a phenomenal experience and amazing tour. Jordan was so knowledgeable and provided commentary that was insightful. We got up close and personal with nature off the beaten path - we saw about five other people on the trail. If you want to experience nature in Alaska, this is the tour for you!

Matthew owner started out our tour and was so knowledgeable and kind. We ended up with a random flat tire but it didn’t affect the tour at all, had us entertained at the first stop while we waited for assistance, then we went on the rest of the tour with Shad and Hannah who were wonderful as well! Very personable and knowledgeable group. Didn’t feel rushed at all, very attentive to our interests. We saw many bald eagle, a deer, lots of mussels, crab, where the bear feed during high season - none there now but they tried twice to see some. We learned about the natural remedies found there and tasted some of the local plants. Saw a stunning water fall! So much to see and do, I would have loved even more time with this group! 10/10 - highly recommend this tour with this team - no matter which one you get you’re in great hands!

5/7/26 Operators (can't remember names, but first guy was from Florida and then the tour guide who lived in Davao :-)) called and picked us up because we were running late. Great service! Great stops and info along the way. So generous with their time!

Great Views of Whales on a Sunny Day
Be ready to stand up and watch for whales carefully. The captain and crew will point them out, but, space is sometimes limited as to best views. Most people were kind about sharing the view. It is a little chillier upstairs especially when the boat is moving, so bring warm clothing. We had a beautiful sunny day and saw lots of whales, one very close that was playing and slapping their tail. We also saw eagles, nest, and a few seals.

Ketchikan is a wilderness lover’s paradise. Close to downtown, a local guide can take you to see the region’s best black sand beaches, Native American totem pole parks, and viewpoints for black bears and spawning salmon. The waters around Tongass National Forest are preferred for kayaking among orcas, seals, and humpback whales, but Ketchikan excursions don’t stop there. Fish for Alaskan salmon and halibut, bike or zipline through lush rainforest, or take a plane ride over the spectacular mountains, waterfalls, and alpine lakes of Misty Fjords National Monument.
