Celebrating my husband's birthday

That the tour guides a lot of details. Things I didn't know. Very energetic, they enjoyed giving the information and the fact they wasn't reading it. Buckeye was awesome.

Beautiful Night Tour of Washington DC.

Jenny_A, Apr 2026
We scheduled this tour as one of our activities planned with a group tour that I was part of. It was a beautiful evening and we had a great tour guide, Mr. Smiley. The tour was great. We saw everything we wanted to see. The one downfall was that it went an hour later than it was supposed to, and everybody was very tired from traveling all day. We asked our guide what time we should have our bus driver meet us back at the Washington DC welcome center to pick us up. He said be there at 10:30 pm. He went an hour over our schedule time, it was supposed to be over at 10 PM. We did not get back to the welcome center until 1130, which meant our bus driver had to wait an hour for us. Mr. Smiley did an excellent job, taught us a lot about the city and pointed out many wonderful highlights. It would’ve been better if we would’ve remained on schedule. We had a lot of elderly people on the tour and getting back to our hotel in Alexandria after midnight was very difficult. Other than that one hiccup it was a wonderful tour.

Depending on the weather...

Ellnor_L, Apr 2026
Depending on the weather dress appropriately it is pretty cold on the trolley. Our Driver MJ was fantastic

Phillisha_W, Apr 2026
EJ (Elliot) was our tour guide. He was amazing! He made what could have been a boring tour guide script, fun and engaging. Would recommend this tour as it’s a great way to see the multiple historic site in one night.

Austin_T, Apr 2026
M-Dot was an amazing guide! Throughout the tour he provided many facts about DC that I, an avid history buff, didnt even know! Plenty of opportnuity to see the major monuments up close in one night that wouldve taken multiple nights and too many steps to see on our own! Would recomend to anyone traveling to DC, especially on a short trip!

Best night tour

Carrie_M, Apr 2026
This experience was great we got to see everything I came to see in DC. The driver EJ was amazing, funny, and knowledgeable gave us a lot of info and had fun trivia questions. I highly recommend this exact tour.

Do the daytime tour.

Raji_M, Apr 2026
We imagined we would see the sights all lit up, but only the Lincoln memorial was lit up spectacularly. The Iwojima monument was nicely lit up as well. But we couldn't see the details of the FDR, MLK, or Vietnam veterans memorial. Our guide clearly had a wealth of information about and insight into DC. He was funny and considerate. But it was difficult to follow his commentary.

Perfect to learn and see so much in short amount of time

Amanda_M, Apr 2026
With only having 2 days in the city this was perfect way to see so much of it in a small amount of time! We loved the open air trolley for this tour, it was such a beautiful way to see DC. This is a no brainer if you are here for a short amount of this OR if you just wanted to know more about the history of DC! Smiley was our tour guide and he was just the best. So knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. He really took our experience to the next level. He felt like a friend we were visiting who wanted us to truly see the city he loves and have the best experience possible. Thank you Smiley!

The driver was very hard to understand, we stopped at the memorials when it was very dark instead of finding a parking s

Fun Facts Shared

Heather_V, Apr 2026
It was a great way to see DC and learn about the monuments. The driver/guide made it super interesting. So impressed with the knowledge he shared with us! One could read all about the facts but to hear it be spun into a story made all the difference in keeping our attention.

Arrive early and enjoy!

Lindsay_M, Apr 2026
The evening tour itself was wonderful, MJ was hilarious and kept the evening fun and educational. The start of the tour was very disorganized and the attendant moved the line twice so people who were at the front of the line and had been for some time were now at the back. This left people who had come early to sit with family now displaced over the trolley. Some people were upset and just walked off. I would suggest arriving early, be vigilant about the line and then allowing that stress to leave before getting on the trolley. Again, MJ was awesome and we ended up having a great time.

DC is beautiful at night!

Jennifer_A, Mar 2026
Awesome tour!!! Our driver/guide was Bree (sp) and we LOVED her!! Very knowledgeable, friendly and a great driver!! We thought the time allowed off the bus was enough to grab some pictures and see things up close. Great experience!

Beautiful Monuments

Gina_T, Mar 2026
This was a great way to see Washington DC at night. The monuments were gorgeous lit up. We learned a lot that we wouldn’t have if we walked around ourselves. It was a nice way to spend the night after a long day of walking.

Christy_H, Mar 2026
This was a great tour, but try to stay away from the second row of seats as the view is somewhat blocked .

Tour Guide Buckeye

Ashley_C, Mar 2026
Awesome tour with stops at the famous monuments. Definitely recommend tour guide Buckeye, he was very knowledgeable and great guide!

Great nighttime tour!!

CarrieW, Mar 2026
Great tour to see the major sites at night. Our tour guide, Buckeye, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The time spent at each stop was perfect. There was plenty of time to see everything without a lot of waiting around. Our only issue was that the trolley was completely filled and our seats had a blocked view out of one side.
