It did not follow route advertised. The pick up location was changed and no notification was given. We showed up at Washington welcome center at 6:56 & had to then travel to Union station and almost missed trolley. The employee in the souvenir store was the one who told us whe. We asked where the trolley was.

Must do! Great way to get out to see everything at night and make note of everything you want to see again during the day.

My 14 yo and I went together. We saw a ton in 2.5 hours. MJ was a superb and hilarious guide, full of information and humor. The monuments are gorgeous at night. Great photo ops and a big dose of history in a short time frame. Highly recommended.

This was an excellent experience and a perfect way to see the city of Washington DC. Our guide gave us a very thorough understanding of the history of the city. Also, it was excellent to learn about the monuments that are everywhere.
Dina_M, Aug 2026
Nice way to see the monuments at night. It was nice having extra time at the Lincoln Memorial to see the Korean War Memorial. It was a very hot night and was a bit uncomfortable. If I came back in the summer, I would possibly consider taking a tour with AC. Otherwise our guide was a lot of fun and entertaining. I

Hollywood was excellent as a tour guide. He kept the information entertaining as well as informational. He was a breath of fresh air in the world of tour guides.

Pretty laid-back and relaxing, interesting and informative, and for people who have never been to this city before… it’s pretty amazing!

Incredibly poor experience with this tour operator and with Viator. We were a party of 2 and denied boarding when the agent at the meeting point told us that there was only 1 seat on the trolley. Informed us that we needed to claim a refund via Viator. The trolley company have denied the refund request and has been supported by Viator. Do not use this company.

This was a wonderful, fun and informative experience. The trolly was cool and breezy. Our driver was hilarious and entertaining. He had a beautiful voice. He even sang the National Anthem.

Tour guides were amazing on both busses.
The company running this had a few issues that made this experience not great.
First they oversold the trolly and had to have another one come get us resulting in 30 minute delay. The worker gave us water but this pushed start to 730. This was fine we hoped on and all was going well until the second stop where the trolley started leaking coolant, we where told 10 minutes it was between 30 and 60 minutes before another trolley showed up. We had to skip a few sights from what they said. We then proceed to not get back to orginal stop until 1130. When it was supposed to be 10pm.
Overall I feel the tour was hindered by management. The guides were amazing but had been given poor information about the tour.

Our guide, Hollywood, was great. In depth knowledge of DC history, facts and figures which he made enjoyable and not boring.
Laurel_S, Jul 2026
So much history to see and our bus driver, Rashaud, was so knowledgeable about the city, buildings, monuments and historical figures.
Wendy_M, Jul 2026
Our tour guide Byron the Entertainer made it so fun even though it was 90 degrees. I felt like we were the lucky ones for getting him as our guide. The tour included lots of jokes, sing-alongs and fun stories and was great for our family with young kids. Byron kept it light. The tour is a great way to see a lot of DC quickly and enjoy the sites at night.
Diana_W, Jul 2026
The driver was very informative but we did not get enough time at the memorials to enjoy them. 15 mins for Lincoln and Vietnam was not enough time. We didnt even get told the Korean one was at the same place.
Shay_B, Jul 2026
We enjoyed this tour with our 13yr old grandson, experiecing history & learning as we went. We heard stories from our driver/tpur guide Smiley as we traveled. Our only disappointment was there wasn't enough time given to see the monuments we visited. We didn't have time to walk to the end or the Roosevelt memorial & see Martin Luther King Memorial in 20 minutes or Abraham Lincoln Memirial & Veitnam & Korean in just 20 minutes. We raced & didn't see all of any memorial.
Sarah_T, Jul 2026
Fantastic way to see many of the main monuments / memorials in Washington DC. Especially if you don’t have time to walk to all of them (day or night). There is also something very beautiful about these iconic landmarks as the sunsets.
Jason, our driver, was friendly & knowledgeable. The trolley buses provide excellent views from all angles. Although you may want to turn up early to get one of the best vantage points.
The tour lasted approx. 2.5 hrs. And you see most sites on the route - capitol building, White House, Thomas Jefferson memorial, Korean War veterans memorial, Lincoln memorial, MLK memorial, WWII memorial, marine corps memorial.
There were 3 stops on our tour - marine corps memorial (10 mins), Lincoln memorial / Korean War veterans memorial (30 mins) & MLK memorial (20 mins).
Would highly recommend this tour.

Bill was a fantastic guide! I felt safe in his bus and he shared phenomenal insights. Since I was in town for a work event, it was so nice to have an evening tour and seeing the city at night was a dream-ill do it again! We saw so mich and had the chance to stop and visit some sites. Check the itinerary and go! Thanks!

This tour was perfect for getting in all attractions that Washington DC has to offer. The night effects made it even more beautiful because towards the end of the tour, everything was lit up. My tour guide’s name was MJ and he was absolutely fabulous. He had such a wealth of information about everything we saw. He made it easy to understand, the facts were clear, and he also made us laugh. I would definitely take the tour again if I came back to DC.

initial loading was very bad the guy wanted us to take to separate aisle seats. he had also upset a woman inline very much. we refused and then got two seats together. the driver was very personable and Tok us to s different drop off spots at the end
Patrick_L, Jul 2026
30-40 of us were waiting for our tour bus to show up for our July 3rd moonlight tour…after riding the Metro x 7 of us.
The tour bus just didn’t show up - no e-mail cancellation, no text, and no notification to Viator!
At least they provided us a refund - but we would have liked to go on the tour we booked weeks before the 4th vacation we planned!
Jana_D, Jul 2026
We never received an email after a cancellation of our booking. Several other people were in the same position when we all showed up for our booked trip that had been confirmed every day up until the day and time of our booking and yet they canceled hour before and notified NONE OF US!
SandraMScudder, Jul 2026
It was wonderful, the tour guide was excellent. HE had to reroute at times due to road blocked and was so professional, made it pleasant, did not get frustrated just went with the flow and got us around safely. HE was very informative about all the history and view points.Had a lovely time

E.J. was a wonderful driver and narrator! We learned so many new things. The only reason I didn't give a five-star rating is because some of the seating on the bus is obstructed. Probably not something they can help, but if you get an unobstructed view (especially towards the back of the bus), you'll have an optimal experience!

MJ was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We learned so much about Washington DC and had a great time along the way! He was very helpful with my disability as well! Great experience :)
Ellen_S, Jun 2026
Our guide was Buckeye and he did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of interesting commentary. Would highly recommend this tour.
Michelle_H, Jun 2026
Depending on the time of year only half the tour is in the moonlight But our driver was extremely knowledgeable about the area and made it N excellent experience.
Matthew_K, Jun 2026
This was a great evening. Smiley really made the tour great. Thank you for taking us around the city and teaching us more about the awesome history of our country.
