No Fluff, Just The Facts
I thought that the tour to the Madison was very thorough. The guide Marjorie was knowledgeable and gave detailed information. She took the time to explain all facts.
The driver and guide Halper was knowledgeable about the facts of Thomas Jefferson. His driving ability was highly skilled.

Trip to Gettysburg.
Gettysburg was a fantastic experience. From pick up to drop off. Our driver Alper was very accommodating. The official guide Gary at Gettysburg was excellent, so articulate and informative. With his vivid description of the strategies of battle and all the main characters, he really brought history to life with his encyclopaedic knowledge of the battle. Gary stood with us and described long past events as if they were happening in present time. The drive through the battlefield and the town of Gettysburg was like going back through time, little changed from 1865. I would thoroughly recommend this tour ! Thank you so much.

Funnest way to see the mall area
Such an awesome way to see the city. Would recommend to anyone trying to see as much as possible in a short time. Saved us lots of parking, driving and walking time. Friendly and informative tour guide. Kids loved the experience of seeing the town from a golf cart.

Perfect tour if you're pressed for time!
This was not the actual tour we took - this one was cancelled due to lack of participants, HOWEVER, the tour company added us to another tour which was the same except for the National Archives and Capitol Building. We saw most of the major historical sights in DC on this tour, and it was perfect given the limited amount of time we had in the city. Our guide and driver were amazing and full of knowledge about the monuments, memorials, and historical figures. I also appreciated that our guide mentioned notable women and people of color during the tour. We stopped in Georgetown to enjoy lunch (not included in price) and had a wonderful experience! Out tour ended near the National Archives, and our guide noted the lack of line and got all of us in, despite it not being part of the tour. Great day!

Highest recommendation
Steve was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during the whole tour. He offered to provide feedback with anything during our stay in Washington, D.C. outside of the tour hours, such as other places to go and visit. He provided tips on what transportation options exist to get to the tour bus, and he texted the day prior to the tour to confirm our reservation. It was a professional experience, and we were able to see so many things in four hours that we would have never been able to do by ourselves. Along the way, we learned so much about the history of the area and the United States. The buses have access to areas that cars do not in the city. I give the highest recommendation that I can for this service.

I had a wonderful experience on this tour!
I had a wonderful experience on this tour!
Johnny, our guide, was fantastic — friendly, punctual, funny, and very knowledgeable. He shared so many interesting stories about Virginia’s history and the early presidents, which made the drive from DC to Shenandoah both fun and educational.
The short hike in Shenandoah Valley, part of the Appalachian Trail, was scenic and suitable for all fitness levels. As someone who loves hiking, I personally would’ve enjoyed a slightly longer trail, but it was still a great balance for a day trip.
The Luray Caverns were absolutely amazing! We arrived at a great time, before it got crowded in the afternoon, and I felt I had plenty of time to explore and enjoy the site.
Overall, the tour was very well organized, relaxing, and full of beautiful sights. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Virginia’s natural beauty and history in one day!

A Great Way To See Washington DC.
We did the HOHO Bus last year and saw hardly anything. The looong waits for buses in the hot sun and then it got stuck in traffic over 30 minutes waiting for a motorcade. This year we splurged and saw everything we wanted to see. What a relief to get back into an ac’ed van after every stop. Robert was always parked at a convenient pickup place. He had ice cold water and even an umbrella when it started to rain. We will remember the perfect day where we saw everything more than the cost of the ride. We were only 3 people but for a group this is definitely the way to go. It was a big, comfortable van that could hold 8-10 people comfortably. Definitely the way to go with a group that includes little kids. We had a great day despite the heat and rain. You will too if you choose to go with the private tour.
