very good guided tour. Learned a lot about the area and all the history behind Memphis. Quite a fascinating place to visit the Music museum, place of Dr MLK assasination, the Mississisipi river and its significance. Enjoyed the tour.

The Memphis Riverboat is located at the bottom of a 35% incline covered with historic cobblestones. Due to the historic nature of the cobblestones, buses or vehicles are not allowed to drop passengers off directly at the boat dock; guests will be dropped off and picked up from Riverside Dr.
Within a few blocks there are four different parking garages, and several open-air parking lots. The closest garage to our location (just two blocks away) is at 149 Peabody Place between Second Street and BB King Blvd., next to the Hampton Inn. You can try your luck with on-street metered parking, too, on Second Street just south of Beale; on Beale between Front and Second; or along Peabody Place from Front to Fourth Street.

Loved the bus portion of the tour and the Rock n Soul museum but river cruise was very disappointing. We had to sit from 1:45 to 2:30 in the boat smelling diesel. No one told us about this part of the tour. Also didn’t see anything interesting on the river cruise.

River cruise is not handicap accessible. Memphis needs to step up to ADA requirements. Affordable tour & pleasant guided & drivers. Guide was excellent

This tour was a great introduction to Memphis which we did on the first day of our holiday. Started off with a tour of Memphis on the bus with a couple of stops to get off. This was good but people at the back of the bus had difficulty hearing because of the engine noise. Stopped for the taster BBQ which was lovely and was plenty to eat for a midday snack. We chose the entry to the Rock n Soul museum which was really interesting. We had plenty of time to look around before being picked up go to the Riverboat. The Riverboat was one of the highlights of our holiday. Lots of information given out over the speakers. They serve great affordable cocktails too!!!

Our guide Taylor and Driver Sean were knowledgeable and entertaining. The BBQ was great. We enjoyed the riverboat ride although the walk down to and back up was steep and not good for handicap patrons

Great if you are short of time because you see and do a lot in one day. Especially liked the Rock and Soul Museum. All great except the vegetarian lunch was some chips and a little coleslaw. I bought beans for my friend so she would have something to eat.

Great six hour tour that started with a drive through the city in a mini-bus; made a few stops before having a BBQ tasting at Central BBQ. We chose the Civil Rights Museum option which we simply walked across the street to the entrance. Could have spent more time in the museum. The river cruise was enjoyable & informative. Great choice if your time is limited in Memphis.

Our guide was Kate, and she was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable! You could tell she really loves Memphis, and loves her job. We chose the Rock & Soul Museum as our museum stop, and it did not disappoint. Also, the stop at Central BBQ was listed as a tasting, but for us it was plenty for lunch. Ending on the riverboat cruise was a perfect way to end our day. This tour surpassed all expectations. I highly recommend it!

Mary was an absolute gem. She recounted tons of Memphis history, expertly inserting comedy at all the right times. The tour was both fun and educational. The National Civil Rights Museum was impactful and we wish we had more time to take it all in. The riverboat was a great ending with many more great facts about Memphis.

This was the perfect way to start our stay in Memphis. The tour was well worth the money and a better deal than if we had tried to put all of the activities together ourselves. We could have skipped the BBQ lunch. As vegetarians they just doubles our coldslaw. This tour really made the most out of our first day in Memphis.

The tour around Memphis was excellent and very informative - our guide really knew her stuff. The BBQ taster was fabulous and the Civil Rights Museum moving and unmissable. We felt a bit muhhh about the riverboat cruise - and - had we known how brilliant the one we did in New Orleans afterwards was going to be, we would have given this one a miss and visited the Sun Studios instead
