Lovely evening cruise on the Douro river

A peaceful cruise along the Douro river. Such a lovely viewpoint to see Porto from. The wine & charcuterie board were both lovely. The young crew are such a lovely group, I am impressed at what a wonderful tour with a fleet of boats, they have created. One of our guides was Veronica, and she was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Excellent tour of the Duoro Valley. The various wines we tasted gave me a love for Port. Jorge was such a great driver. He was safe and gave a comfortable ride. Jeremy is the best tour guide I’ve ever had on any experience. He was light-hearted, fun, informative and attentive.

Well planned out. We were the first tour group so we had room at the café, the Cathedral and at our lunch spot. Never felt hurried. Pedro, was an excellent guide, easy to understand and very knowledgeable. He was light hearted and humorous, just enough so it was enjoyable. Would highly recommend this tour.

Perfect first look at Lisbon

This was a great way to get a first look at Lisbon especially when traveling with older adults. Our driver/guide Carlos did an excellent job sharing interesting information about the city highlights, as well as sharing other spots we might want to revisit later during our stay. We were able to stop at multiple locations for a quick photo opportunity, or stay for a bit longer if desired. At the end of the tour Carlos was able to drop us off as close to the cruise terminal as possible so our parents didn’t have to walk as far back to the ship. It was a very pleasant afternoon.

Truly a private tour…

This private tour was truly that! PRIVATE!! Just the 3 of us and our AMAZING tour guide Henrique. He was incredibly knowledgeable but his ‘above and beyond’ desire to help us get all that we wanted to see and do was even more impressive. He asked us what we wanted to make sure we did…we told him two items that we had been asked to be brought back for friends. He had never heard of one of the items. He researched it…found a store that had it, took us there and helped us purchase it. Re the other item, he took us to a store that he knew to be genuine Portuguese made and found our other requested item. Plus all the other little extras that he threw in…including making sure we got into our rental apt by the time our luggage was to be delivered. I cannot rave about our tour and Henrique enough. Ranks in the top 5 tour experiences ever.

Sunny Portugal!

Wonderful tour of Pena Palace in Sintra and coastal drive to Cascais for lunch. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to our mixed language group. The palace was more lovely than I expected--very well restored. The wall up from the parking lot was challenging for those not in fairly good shape but our guide walked very slowly and was patient with the older people. We stopped at the lighthouse at the furthest western edge of continental Europe for a photo op and continued on to a leisurely lunch in Cascaix. We recommend Lux Mar for perfect seafood. Then back to Lisbon to our starting point by 4. We would highly recommend this tour to others.

Amazing tour!

Rodrigo was great. His english is very good and he knows so much. Really nice guy too. The VW van was very comfortable. Lots of room and big windows. Sintra and Cascais really pretty. Sintra is so charming, and the visit to the castle was very interesting. If you have bad knees, for $5 you can take the shuttle up the hill

Amazing Portugal experience

I really enjoyed the things we saw and the scenic drive between them. This is a great way to see a lot of Portugal. Wonderful Tour don’t Miss it!

This was a lovely tour. Our guide Ande was great . He gave us history and was super informative on the ride. We boarded our boat with just 7ppl on the tour , which was great compared to the larger buses and groups. We cruised up the River and the guides were local so they had a lot of knowledge. It was a beautiful cruise , about 40 minutes. Then we went to the winery where they were working on 3 concrete vats of grapes which was informative and interesting to see. We joined a couple small groups at a beautiful overlook for a tasting of wines and ports. Then we drove to this small town for more wine tastings with food…. This was a lively place . The food was delicious and the wine tasting was wonderful. Don’t worry, plenty of food and wine!!! It was a great day. all the guides and everyone we met we so friendly and genuinely wanted us to know, taste and enjoy the Duoro Valley. I wish we could have stayed longer!!!!
