Dancing skies made for a night to remember

This night was unforgettable! I wasn’t sure what to expect but was very hopeful to see something in the sky. Our tour guide, Christian was awesome! He was wise and knowledgeable about chasing the auroras. He assured us that he would drive around using his handy tablet that he created a very cool app to help guide him until he seen active light activity in the sky. He made our night very special because what we saw in the sky was something we did not expect. We saw green, pink, purple hues in the sky! He provided great HD pictures, hot coco, cookies and Viking props which added to the already rare and special night. He was prompt with processing the images and creating an awesome video of our night!!! Thank you Christian!!

Lovely spa like...

Lovely spa like experience, you can stay in the water as long as you’d like once you arrive. The ritual was fun! You can skip the cold plunge or saunas if you’re not about it. The first dry sauna was quite hard to breathe in for me personally but a beautiful view of the sea from inside. The wet sauna had a strong perfumed scent, which may be too much if you have a sensitive nose. After the scrub, my skin was incredibly soft and we spent about two hours in the lagoon afterwards. They have cocktails and mocktails for purchase for you to enjoy in the lagoon. Highly recommend the crowberry martini!

Beautiful !

Tour guide arrived punctual so be at the pickup point on time . Mini coach bus was super comfortable . Every stop we did was beautiful and had enough time on each to explore . Lunch stop was at the black sand beach and only had one restaurant but food was delicious ! You won’t have other lunch stops so eat here because it’s a long day. Tour guide knew I was solo traveler so he took my photos in front of a waterfall for me which was nice . Overall loved this tour saw a lot of Iceland

Northern Lights !!!

The pickup point was easy to find and only 5 min walk from my hotel . The tour guide was punctual . The mini coach bus was comfortable. There is a bathroom stop in the beginning- use it because that’s the only time you will be able to. They provide wool blankets which are so cozy. They also give you hot chocolate with a pastry which was delicious . The guide kept us informed at all times . He was honest from the start saying it’s not a guarantee to find the lights but we’re gonna try our best and have fun while searching. Seeing the stars was amazing. We finally got a glimpse of the northern lights it was faint but it was still there and that was enough for me . The guide took our professional photos with the lights and the photos came out amazing . We posed for many pictures. I received the photos in less than 2 days which was great. It was truly a magical experience . Book it !

Minti Made the Day

We had an amazing walking food tour. Our guide, Minti, was excellent. He was friendly and gave us great explanations and history of Iceland. The staff at each restaurant was friendly as well. At every stop the food was delicious. We had selections that we would never have just tried on our own so this was a very worthwhile experience. We got the opportunity to meet other travelers and hear about their experiences which made for a great day! We were brave and tried the fermented shark with the vodka chaser. I would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone who wants an Icelandic food experience. And by the way, show up hungry because you will definitely want room to try all of the options.

Absolutely wonderful three hour experience we will never forget

The location of this cave made it clear ice with black volcanic ash…. It’s beautiful, but it is not the blue ice that you hear about. Nonetheless, the ride out and the incredible stories you hear from your guide make this excellent way to spend your morning or afternoon! It’s pretty impossible to even explain the vastness of these volcanic eruptions, and knowing that some of these happened thousands and thousands of years ago, and yet remain mostly unchanged is something I will never forget!

We had a great experience...

We had a great experience on this tour. The bus was comfortable and our navigator, Thora(sp), was awesome! She was very funny and knowledgeable. Our bonus stop to feed some Icelandic horses was so great! Finishing the day at the Blue Lagoon was the best final touch.

Worth every dollar!

I added this at the last minute as a fourth tour that day. It cost $166USD and was well worth every dollar. I decided to pay for the private package. It is really more of a semi-private situation and included a non-alcoholic drink. Take your time during the seven-step spa experience because once you move onto the next step you can't go back. Then take all the time you'd like in the lagoon.
