Amazing but be prepared!

The sites are amazing, murals, gardens and artifacts absolutely no camera can truly capture. It was an amazing experience, and the guides were very knowledgeable. In July, go earliest tour possible as the heat can be overwhelming. The Vatican is overcrowded, everyone squeezing down hallways from one room to another, just be prepared. I traveled with my son (10) and mom (80), both struggled with the heat and amount of walking, also trying to hydrate at each water fountain along the way. I bought a shawl which I soaked and put around my neck which was very helpful- highly recommend!

We recently took this guided tour of the Sagrada Família, and it was fantastic. Our guide, Ina, was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the building. She used to work on staff at the church, so she had wonderful behind the scenes insight that you would not get from a typical tour or audio guide, little details about the construction, the symbolism, and the history that really brought the place to life. The Sagrada Família is stunning on its own, but having Ina walk us through it made the experience so much richer. Highly recommend booking a guided tour if you are visiting, and if you can request Ina, do it.

Tuscany’s Best Bus Trip

Amazing day trip under the Tuscan sun. Funny and informative tour guide, Mano, and smooth driver, Sergio, kept everything running like clockwork. Three cities flew by with enough time to see the historic sites and eat all the pasta, wine, gelato, before stepping off the air conditioned bus back in Florence. Grazie!

Perfect Way to See Rome; especially, instead of Walking

First, Driver Frederico was outstanding. He is very courteous and highly knowledgeable about the Rome area. Since we had already seen Rome on prior trips, we chose to try and go to more authentic non-tourist sights and Frederico nailed it! We saw many wonderful sights we never would have found by ourselves. The temperature was upper 90sF and this sure beats walking. Highly recommended.

What to do with 7 hrs in Barcelona? Basilica de Sagrada Familia

On my seven hour layover in Barcelona, I opted to get on the metro to Basilica de Sagrada Familia for a tour. Anna gave good details about the history of the Basilica. The visuals helped a lot. I enjoyed her comments and I learned a lot of history and Biblical facts too that are detailed in the facade. Great job. Thank you.

We waited until the last...

We waited until the last minute to buy tickets for the Louvre and they were sold out, luckily the Viator tour had a few remaining spots. As someone who studied art history, I tend to prefer exploring in my own, however, Mo proved that a trusted guide in the process uncovers rich history and insights that often get overlooked. I highly recommend a tour with this knowledgeable guide. She was delightful and shared her expertise to help us learn.

This was a fantastic experience with an amazing guide. After meeting just outside the Louvre we met our guide Carolina. She immediately impressed us with her background in art history, and had an excellent explanation of what we could expect to see on the tour. She mentioned that the Galerie d’Apollon was reopening that day having been closed due to the 2025 robbery of crown jewels. Since there were going to be opening ceremonies she explained she was going to change the order of the tour so that we would be able to visit the gallery - and she was correct! Carolina's knowledge of the museum was extremely thorough, often showing us pieces which were significant but not 'famous' so that the crowds passed them by. She was able to quickly call up further information on her iPad to go into details and answer questions. Probably the best museum tour I have had, and it was due to Carolina. Highly recommended!

Did the full-day Douro Valley wine tour and it was the highlight of our Porto trip. Rita, our guide, was fantastic, super knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. Julio handled all the driving through those winding valley roads and got us everywhere smoothly, which let the rest of us just sit back and enjoy the views. The scenery is unreal, the quintas we visited were great, and the tastings were the perfect amount. Rita and Julio made the whole day feel relaxed and personal rather than rushed. Couldn't recommend it more. If you're in Porto, do this. Big thanks to Rita and Julio!

This tour of the Vatican was amazing! So beautiful and the history is interesting. Our guide spent a lot of time explaining everything, her knowledge was so good and she happily answered any questions we had. One good point with this tour was the groups weren’t too big so everyone enjoyed sticking together. Highly recommend.

Sunset slot for family of 3!

Our tour guide for the English tour with Uncle Sam tours was named Loveth, who was very knowledgeable and bubbly. We had an Evening/ sunset slot with stairs for ascending to 2nd floor and optional elevator for the summit. Our guide gave us all the history whilst in the queue for tickets and in 1st floor. While the experience was very nice and the host lovely, it is much more expensive (about double) than just queuing for a ticket at the gate but it was the only way to book in advance as the direct site advance tickets are gone very quickly once released for peak holiday season. We were only in the city for 3 days so we didn't want to take the chance of there being no availability on the days we wanted. Overall we were very happy we did it. The views are spectacular and worth every bit of it.
