Great experience

Fabulous day out. Juan our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He looked after us well and managed to manoeuvre us well around the different sites in a way that meant we managed to avoid the big crowds. A must do tour!

Patrick was phenomenal! His information and clarity were unmatched among all of our tours. It was a really hot day, but he managed to get us into the shade almost all of the time. We were traveling with several elderly people and were unaware that it was a 3 mile walk. Thankfully, it was flat and doable.

A must do in the Netherlands

We had 16 in our group (I believe up to 20 qualifies as a "small" group). We lucked out with our tour guide, Han, who happened to be the local mayor of Zaans Schans. He even invited us over to his house in this idyllic town and gave us a tour of his heritage home. He gave us a lot of interesting information about the town and his personal opinions. I appreciated his frankness but perhaps not for everyone. We had a cheese presentation, went through a windmill, and watched a clog demonstration. Had a great time! My only complaint is that although this is considered a small group, if you're at the back, it is difficult to hear during the walk through the town which is super-crowded (3 million visitors a year!).

This canal tour was the highlight of our trip. The tour guide, we think Jake, was knowledgeable and funny. The drinks on board were perfect given the weather. Umbrellas were also available to give us a little shade if needed. Would do it again and highly recommend.

Captain Mare was amazing....

Captain Mare was amazing. She was very informative, personable and tailored her talking to how much or little we wanted to know. The canal tour was exactly 2 hours long with delicious snacks and the drinks were unlimited. It was a great was to see parts of the city we had not gotten to see. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely experience. Incredibly friendly and knowledgable tour operators. I highly recommend opting for the cheese and drinks option - VERY generous portion of cheese and lovely wine selection. The boat is undercover so protects you from the rain but still felt very open and airy for summertime. Very spacious too a large booth for a couple.

This is an excellent tour if you want to see the countryside around Amsterdam. The bikes were easy to use and made traveling the distance rather easy. Wonderful Afternoon to Nibble Learn and Enjoy

Our guide, Joeri, was laid-back, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the city and its food culture. The tour felt authentic from start to finish, taking us beyond the usual tourist hotspots and into smaller local establishments that I never would have discovered on my own. The food selections were excellent, offering a great variety of local specialties while providing insight into Amsterdam’s culinary traditions. Joeri also did a fantastic job adapting when one of the planned stops wasn’t available due to the unusually hot weather. Rather than missing out, he seamlessly switched to a great alternative, ensuring the experience never skipped a beat. Beyond the food, the walking portion through the historic canal district and Jordaan neighborhood was wonderful. Strolling along the UNESCO-listed canals while learning about the city’s history and culture added another layer to the experience. Well-paced, informative, and delicious, this tour offers a perfect combination of sightseeing and local food. Lovely sunset canal tour of Amsterdam

My friend and I booked this experience last minute because we realized we had booked a different canal tour for the wrong day. I was very happy with this tour and we had a lot of fun. We chose the unlimited drinks option and they let us keep a bottle of wine by us to drink throughout the tour. I unfortunately don’t remember our guides name but he was younger and was very entertaining. He shared information about certain buildings and monuments throughout the tour, and answered any questions we asked. His english was very good as well and I had no issue understanding him. Overall it was a fun experience and I’d do it again!
