Wonderful tour

The tour was perfect, Blanca is very knowledgeable and give us a lot of good information. We had to skip Marken due to road closures but we were able to spend more time in Zaanse Schans. Edam is a beautiful town. I wished we had more time in Volemdam because is a big town with lots to explore. This tour was worth it.

Anne Frank's story as never been told before

The tour was excellent because of the tour guide. Manuel was very informative and was able to convey a tragic story about how the Nazi occupation affected not just Jews, but citizens of the Netherlands, in a way that provided a respectful amount of humor with gut-wrenching pictures and detals that brought tears to my eyes. He was superb as the voice of what happened before, during and after WWII and how it affected the Frank family and how it came to be that they were able to hide away from he Nazi's for two years before being betrayed one month before the Allied Forces liberated Jewish POWs.

Leo is the best!!!

This was a great choice. The locations we visited were awesome. We tried many local favorites. Best of all our guide Leo was very knowledgeable about not only the food but the history of the city. If you are planning a trip to Amsterdam and want to enjoy some great food and history take this tour and request Leo if possible.

Great tour!

It was a fun and long day, but felt like there was enough time to do everything you wanted and enjoy a lunch or take a break. There were a couple of quick group activities (clog making demo and how cheese is made) but you’re on your own otherwise. Paul was our guide and he was great! Very informative. Would recommend.

A wise choice.

Our experience with Captain Jack's started at 5PM. Dress for cold. They provided blankets. I hav a beanie jacket and gloves and was still chilly. Captain Tim is very knowledgeable about all things Amsterdam. He's also quite personable and easy on the eyes. This tour gives a very nice intro to Amsterdam. Good value.

Canal Tour Was Fun

Our original tour was canceled at last minute due to technical problems so we ended up taking an open air tour with same company who were very accommodating to us! Our captain was very knowledgeable and fun! We had good weather which made it even more enjoyable! Great way to see a lot of Amsterdam!

The Zaanse Schans was very interesting.and we learnt a lot about Dutch history. We saw how the basic cloggs were made. There is a nice collection to see at the place. There was a short explanation about cheese. Our guide Caroline took us through the windmill tour. I think that the place itself could have more films to show about the whole process of clogg making and cheese. The village is very pretty to walk around and the whole experience was fun even though it was por8ng with rain

Highly recommend this tour and this tour company - we did the private full Amsterdam experience (4-5 hours) and had a great time. Our guide was funny, knowledgeable and flexible - and took us to a number of places for unique and authentic food and drink experiences! Lots of stories and fun facts along the way - and always checked in to see if we needed anything (restroom, break etc). Highly recommend this tour - and hope you get Otto for the afternoon!

An utterly delightful 2 hours.

An utterly delightful 2 hours. Relaxing, taking in so much of Amsterdam’s beauty from the vantage point of the canals. A small open boat with only about 10 people. Very nice snacks provided and wine/beer if you want to purchase. Our “driver” was very charming and entertaining and extremely knowledgeable about all things Amsterdam. No complaints. Highly recommended.

Knowledgeable guide that made sure we were confortable with cushions and drinks. Great knowledge of Amsterdam history and offered. Retesting facts of the canal houses and houseboats along the canals. When we received a little rain, she quickly offered umbrellas to make sure we were dry. Great tour for the entire family with teens.
