Our tour guides name was Jon and he was the absolute best ever!!!! To start off it was easy to find the meeting point and i liked that we all went to the actual locations together on a tour bus. Hopping on and off each location with a specific time. Our tour guide Jon was very fun, witty and intelligent. He made the tour so interesting i loved listening to him tell the history of everything. Don’t eat first!! Roman was a wonderful tour guide and a great “Parisian” ambassador for Amsterdam. Such a variety of tastings and didn’t mock because I did pass on pickled herring. Incredible opportunity to see the history both tragic and beautiful of Amsterdam with a knowledgeable local guide.

What a wonderful way to see the city and get to experience the history. Our incredible guide Peter was beyond knowledgeable about not only the history but everything the city had to offer. We enjoyed an excellent leisurely pace that accommodated the group well. He was through and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this tour as a way to see and admire what is Amsterdam. Approximately two miles on relatively flat terrain. Wear suitable shoes as there are various surfaces and many road crossings where the train lines are grooved.

Fantastic tour guide

Our canal cruise was so much better than expected. We signed up for the tour wanting to see the sights along the canals but found ourselves instead engrossed in the history of Amsterdam as told by Salim ,the tour guide. Salim was so knowledgeable, friendly, and kind we would have been happy to sit and listen to him for hours after the boat returned. While the boat ride showed us a lot of sights along the way and the cheese and wine were wonderful , the true star of the trip was Salim!

Learned a lot and had fun!!

We took an evening boat tour and it was lovely! Our captain and guide, Nunzio, was a fantastic storyteller and made the tour all the more fun. We got to see the two smallest houses in Amsterdam and learned a lot about the city design and architecture. There were drinks for sale, which we didn’t have, but I appreciated the option - beer, wine, soda, and water. It was very hot on the day we took our tour so it was a bit uncomfortable for the first 15-20 min until the sun went down a bit. The boat provides some umbrellas for shade which was a nice touch.

A day at Van Gogh Museum !

It was a great experience. We had the self guided tour which we paid in advance. If you did not you would need to pay for the audio equipment at the museum. The self guided y Tour was very easy to navigate. It’s crowded but you can’t get lost. We learned a lot about Van Gough life. To see the art collection up and close was amazing! The gift shops are great. Make sure you bring money for souvenirs!

Best way to cruise the canals

Captain B was a great guide, very informative and he’s a real local born and bred in Amsterdam. This open top boat is definitely the way to go compared to other crowded covered ones we saw (but bring a hat if sunny). Smaller boat also allowed us to see the quieter and smaller canals. Truly magical!

The cruise was very...

The cruise was very satisfying in terms of what I expected. The guide was funny and allowed me to bring my pizza on the boat because I hadn’t had a chance to eat all day, which saved my life. The location of departure was not as listed: it was from Amsterdam Centraal area and not near the Anne Frank House. However, the address provided on my ticket sufficed to get me to right place just in time, so it wasn’t a problem for me. Just a note.
