Athens What A Treat
Stam was our tour guide for the Athens tour. He was friendly and provided flexibility in our tour experience. He dropped us at the important sites and we walked through then joined him again for the next site. This worked well since these sites are huge we paced ourselves. He actually made it easy for us. He was also helpful in taking photos. What I enjoyed most is at the end of the tour we were treated to a very tasty authentic Greek lunch at a cozy little restaurant. The waiter greeted us and served several different meals and cold drinks. including dessert. All in all just wonderful. We really needed and appreciated that lunch treat after our visit to the historical sites. Thank you Stam for including that added touch to our day 👌

Great tour pacing and insight
Vicky did an excellent job with this tour. Thanks goodness we started early in the morning in the Summer heat. She took us by the uncrowded shady way to the entrance. She was very helpful to offer to take pictures. The Museum tour after was very insightful too. She was also wary of how tiring the tour was and gave us ample chances for bathrooms and sitting to rest while she talked. I would recommend

Bring water with you! We...
Bring water with you! We thought we were entering in one entrance where there are vending machines with water but we went through a different one instead (with no water). Our guide worked hard to keep us in the shade but it was a brutally hot day. At the top, there are vending machines in the back (thankfully!) but please be mindful so you don't feel ill. That said, highly recommend adding on the museum tour. It is probably one of the best museums we have ever been to! (And consider splitting it up into 2 days to really enjoy.)

A MUST DO! We went for...
A MUST DO! We went for the 9am tour of the Acropolis and Museum and were done a little before 1pm! We arrived to the tour company’s office and the tour started smoothly from there! Lots of walking so wear comfy shoes and it was almost 100 degrees so take a fan or umbrella and bottled water if you go in July/August. The views were amazing and our guide was wonderful walking us through every site and major artifacts in the museum.
