Excellent two-part day. Vince was our outstanding and energetic host! Part one was Montserrat, and although the weather was not perfect, it was spectacular. The castle/winery visit followed, and this is where Vince shone. Lunch was good, but the private tasting inside the castle was just special, as were the wines!

Phenomenal Marc P. Tour Guide

I am giving this five stars solely due to the extraordinary, stunning appearance and tour of Segrada Familia, and the tour given by the phenomenal Marc P. tour guide who knew EVERYTHING about every feature of the cathedral and was very personable as well. It is within the top five most incredible places I’ve ever been too. If I had it to do over again, I’d love to have skipped the Park Guell which we were underwhelmed by, not that Marc was instrumental in that (he again knew all the salient facts about it). My husband and I believed the architectural styles used had no real cohesion and we found the buildings themselves were not terribly impressive.

Baggio- Take His Tours

Baggio is an excellent guide - friendly, extremely knowledgeable and well versed on history and local lore. He was flexible and made a couple of stops for bakery items and other things we wanted to try. He obviously loves Barcelona and he has a appreciation of art, especially the architecture of Gaudi which made the Sagadra Familia experience special. I highly recommend doing a tour with him.

Great tour, Marta was great!

Marta was really good, she explained everything well, took her time and even showed us photos of close up when we could not see the detail. Get to the starting point before the tour starts as it leaves exactly on time. Plenty of shopping opportunities throughout the tour but there is no pressure. Marta answered all our questions. The tour is certainly worth it. Also, stay back after the tour to just sit in the pews and soak it in.

Family catamaran cruise.

Our cruise docked in Palma for one day. We decided to book this catamaran cruise. Our 4-hour adventure was outstanding. Our captain (Armon) and his assistant Oliver were the best. Oliver could not have taken better care of us. Provided a great tapas light lunch and drinks whenever requested. Besides a cruise along the beautiful coastline we stopped in a bay to do some swimming and snorkeling - which was very cool. The boat was awesome, spacious and clean. Everything was on time and just as depicted on Trip Advisor. This experience was one of highlights of our weeklong family trip.

Great guide made for a great experience

The tour of the palace was very enjoyable. Our guide made it fun with her humor and history knowledge of the Spanish royal families. The palace has an interesting mix of elaborate decor, paintings, crystal chandeliers, clocks and ceiling frescos. Don’t forget to go in the separate room with all the armor after you leave the main palace.

Great Overview of Barcelona

This is a great overview of Barcelona. We took what we saw and in the following days we returned to some of the places we saw. Our guide Andres did a great job of keeping us on time and explaining what we were seeing and where we could explore further on our own. This tour is walking plus a short bus ride to get to Sagrada Família. I don’t know if this tour always ends at Sagrada Família but we arrived there for 3:30pm tour time which was perfect for seeing the beautiful stained glass windows light up the cathedral from the afternoon sun. The guide explains the cathedral but you then go in on your own and can stay as long as you want. My only suggestion is to not go to one lunch restaurant but stop somewhere with more options as the menu was a dinner menu and we really only wanted a sandwich but not a full Spanish dinner menu which we planned to do in the evening. But it was a convenient location to the cathedral. We enjoyed this tour & ended up following several suggestions in our remaining time in Barcelona. Highly recommend.

Quick and informative walking tour through park guell

We loved this tour. Our tour guide (unfortunately forgot his name) was excellent and gave us great history and explanations behind everything. The radio headsets they provided worked excellent and we could hear him clearly the entire time. The pace of the tour was perfect, not rushed but not dillydallying for too much time in one spot either. After the tour ended, we had plenty of time to go back and explore on our own and take pictures. Make sure to book a slot that is first thing in the morning to beat the crowds, as the park gets busier as the day goes on and gets very crowded. People were literally lining up outside 30 minutes before opening time. The park has multiple entrances so make sure you check the booking confirmation as it will tell you very clearly which entrance you need to go to. The reviews from people that went to the wrong entrance and didn’t get let in because they were late probably didn’t bother to read the details that are clearly provided. If you have common sense and reading comprehension you’ll be fine. (:
