At every stop, he shared interesting stories, historical background and local insights that really brought each place to life. It was clear that he is passionate about what he does and knows the area exceptionally well. Beyond his knowledge, Scott was friendly, professional and incredibly accommodating throughout the trip. He made us feel comfortable and looked after everyone with great care. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed travelling with him, and he played a huge part in making our Highland experience so memorable. The tour was excellent....

The tour was excellent. We couldn’t get tickets to the castle because they were sold out. Thru the tour, we got entrance tickets as well as a 1.5 hours tour. The tour guide spoke clearly and was very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

Fun Adventure

Marita was a great guide! She kept us on track, which is about as difficult as herding cats with tourists wandering off every direction...knowledgeable and fun. Eilean Donan castle was a favourite stop, and so many lovely things along the way. Would recommend bringing lunch and snacks so you can enjoy Portree and other stops without having to worry about food. There's not really enough time anywhere, but that's how you can get through so much in one day.

This is a wonderful experience and gets you into Edinburgh Castle efficiently. The tour guide G was an Edinburgh local and gave us great insight into Edinburgh Castle and Scottish history. He effused with energy and enthusiasm and I could tell he had extensive knowledge about the castle and Edinburgh. I very much appreciated his humor and his local recommendations for places to eat and shop. Booking and meeting the tour group was painless and so easy.

Great way to see the country

Brian, our guide/driver, was excellent. He choreographed the music and commentary perfectly to what activity we were doing. Had the perfect amount of stops, saw everything we intended to see and never felt cheated on time spent at any location. The 12 ish hour day went by so fast.

Well worth it

We met our guide Robbie just before the start of the walk, he was very friendly and chatted about where we were from, I loved that he had dressed up. He was very informative and patient, always making sure we’re were together and safe. It was a lovely evening stroll pointing out things you would normally pass by without noticing.

Great way to see the upper part of the Royal Mile and learn about various places and some history on Edinburgh. After an introduction to the castle, got to tour the exhibits on our own.. Nice snack shop to eat at before touring all of the exhibits. a separate detailed tour of the castle can be obtained at the visitor center.,

It was fascinating learning about the history of the Edinburgh bridge vaults. The tour guide was informative and engaging while walking the group through dark and damp corridors. Even though the long history of the vaults is generally depressing, I found the experience very worthwhile.
