Sensational Music Appreciation

We started with a set course dinner at the top in the fortress overlooking the valley and mountains. The food was very good and the service was impeccable. Then we moved to the concert at a higher level in the Fortress, which had views overlooking the old town and the city lights of Salzburg. The concert was outstanding and would highly recommend not to miss the Mozart concert.

I wish I remembered our...

I wish I remembered our guides name, but she was fabulous! So knowledgeable. We didn’t know much about the Palace prior, but knew it was as a must do and it did not disappoint. Pleas stay for the whole tour!! Some of the people in our tour left early and I really think they missed out.

Amazing day you must not miss!!

This Sound of Music tour was absolutely wonderful. I had been told by friends how great it was but it even passed all expectations. Brigette was an amazing guide! Just perfect! She was very informative and passionate about the movie and the locations but also made it so enjoyable and so much fun. It’s a must do in Salzburg and I’d go again tomorrow. Such a great day and my husband enjoyed it too! We’re still singing the songs!!!

Great Day Trip for a solo traveller

I enjoyed this day trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg as a solo traveller. The guide, Lily, gave us some interesting background on each stop as well as highlights along the way. I loved the music she played featuring famous Austrians. I feel like we had plenty of time at Hallstatt and a guided tour in Salzburg was really helpful, I might have missed some really interesting features.

A great short and sweet tour of the magical Hallstatt, the crown jewel of Salzburg. Make sure not to miss this. The whole tour is 5.5 hrs and allows a min of 2.5 hrs in the village for sightseeing that is plenty. Johannes, the driver and the whole team, great job! We did the Hallstatt Guided Day Trip from Vienna with the boat ride option, and it was a highlight of our trip. The instructions for getting on the bus were seamless and very smooth — no confusion about where or when to meet. Our guide Alex was excellent: knowledgeable, engaging, and kept the energy lively the entire day. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed sharing the history and stories along the route. One tip for future travelers: be back at the bus on time. Drivers in Vienna operate under strict driving-hour regulations and have to stay within a set number of hours per day, so a few passengers running late kept the group waiting and put unnecessary stress on our poor driver. Just something to keep in mind so everyone can help the day run smoothly. Hallstatt itself was absolutely beautiful, and the boat ride was fantastic. There was a small hiccup with the boat option along the way, but the company handled it well and made things right — everything ended up going smoothly regardless. Overall, a wonderful, well-organized day trip with a guide who made it even better. Highly recommend.

Giselle was amazing! So knowledgeable, so kind, really keyed into the entire group. It was very hot and sunny today, and she kept finding secret shade everywhere! We enjoyed that there was an opportunity to pause for a sweet midway through, and that it was actually also part of the tour! Highly recommend!

4 Americans going underground and drinking wine (not at the same time) in Vienna

Very comfortable Mercedes runner vans. Reasonably sized (12 person as opposed to the 30-40 person bus trips) personal tour. Good information on the drive to the stops. Underground lake was beautiful and the history behind the lake was amazing. I would recommend a blanket or jacket because it is about 40° F in the tunnels. Wine stop was a very nice small family winery in a gorgeous area. We had Ivan as our driver who spoke enough English to make us laugh a couple times. Taras was the main tour guide who made sure we had everything we needed and had great stories and information about all aspects of the trip. I would highly recommend this tour!
