It was awesome; a great introduction to the area of its your first time here. We learned a lot about the native people, their history, life today in this area, wildlife, and of course, seeing the Grand Canyon up close and personal. Our tour guide was excellent: fun, knowledgeable, anticipating our needs, an excellent driver——very professional and yet relaxed. Seems to sincerely enjoy his job and the people he meets.

You haven't hiked the Grand Canyon till you've hiked below the rim!

Jon made the hike a memorable experience for us. The canyon's colors were beautiful at sunset. This is definitely the time of day for this hike. And having a guide who provides everything takes the stress out of planning. Win-win! We are casual hikers and were concerned about how well we'd do going into the hike. We took the South Kaibab Trail down a little beyond Cedar Ridge, only 2 mi but about a 1200 ft elevation drop (think Empire State Building). We've used hiking poles before, but Jon took the time to show us the proper technique to minimize exertion and stress on our joints. This, along with Jon's proper pacing, made us completely comfortable the entire time. Oh, and the chicken wrap, snacks, and drinks Jon brought helped to keep us fueled along the way.

Be sure to follow instructions for loading apps and redeeming the voucher code well before you start the tour. Also be aware that the tour can only be launched at or near designated start points. The tour guide was great. Points of interest were called out in advance so you don't miss anything. The details, facts and notes along the way kept the drive from getting monotonous. It felt like the guide was in the car with us. I will use this type of tour again.

The tour was thorough and very enjoyable. The tourguide, John, was excellent. He had a wealth of info about the canyon that he shared with us. Due to the of-season, my wife and I were his only guests, and he was very good to us. He bought us lunch although not obligated to do so. He gave us a detailed explanation of the rock formations in the canyon, whihc we really appreciated.

The way to see Grand Canyon!

Great tour of Grand Canyon. Sam our guide was kind and knowledgeable. She gave us lots of history on the drive of the canyon and native tribes. Lunch was nice picnic. It was so nice having a driver who knew where to go/ stop - stress free. Small group was great- we didn’t feel hurried or herded. All together a perfect tour.

Robbed on our anniversary!

Loved everything about it! The shootout to start out the trip was perfect with wonderful actors. Jim was great with his “bad” jokes and the train entertainment was spot on for the moods going up and coming down. The Grand Canyon was definitely the wonder that it is and getting robbed on our 18th wedding anniversary topped it all off. 10 out of 10 will definitely do it again! This tour is very informative about the history of Flagstaff. We did start in an underground area but the rest of the tour was above ground. It appears that the underground tunnels have been closed off. We had a couple people on our tour that it would have been difficult to navigate the underground floors so we weren’t disappointed. Our tour guide made the tour interesting, informative and fun.

Grand says it all.

They don't call it the Grand Canyon for nix. For first timers, a guided tour is the way to go. If you don't, guaranteed you'll miss stuff. Plus no hassles. We stayed in Flagstaff, they picked us up at our hotel. Didn't have to worry about anything. Our guide/driver, Linda, was outstanding. She was very knowledgable about the geography and the history of the area. She was excellent at adapting to our interests and pace. Kudos! A highlight of our first trip to the Southwest.

Lots of haunting

We learned a ton about the history of flagstaff, the family’s who helped found it and what a lot of the businesses started out as and turned into through the years. We also learned about a lot of the macabre history and about things that have happened inside of the older buildings a lot of people wouldn’t know about. It was rather cold at 8 pm and our tour guide Olivia did a great job. She was very knowledgeable on the subject matter.
