Excellent Experience and Absolutely Awesome Guide

Picta Travel and our guide, Lisa, provided an amazing experience. We had no idea what to expect as we were new to Lisbon and the surrounding areas. We are so happy we booked this tour. The communication was excellent, Lisa was prompt, professional, and super fun. The amount of experience she has with Lisbon, and particualrly Sintra, made our day so worthwhile. We enjoyed every minute we spent with her and although we were exhausted by the end of the day, we were sad to see our tour end. Sintra is magical in this tour was just right!

This trip was wonderful and really well orchestrated. Being in a small group instead of a huge tour really allowed us to see and learn more from our adventure. Amazing Tour Guide and Experience

I would 100% recommend this experience. I am 23 years old and came with my friend and Pedro was an incredibly attentive and immersive guide. He is very kind and outgoing and extremely knowledgeable on all things Portugal. We had a wonderful half day tour of the Pena Palace and that entire area and had plenty of stops and time to explore. He was the most amazing guide and very funny! Definitely a must do because of the incredible sites and history.

Great experience and very organized. Tour guide was great and very informational. Loved the towns but just a warning…lots of uphill walking and stairs at the two palaces. Older people in our group couldn’t do it and had to sit out. Beautiful and so glad we went.

The boat ride was so comfortable. We loved not only receiving a tour along the Tagus, learning about the country's history while sipping wine, but we also enjoyed meeting others visiting Portugal. Conversation was lovely, the cheese, bread, and meats were delightful, and our tour guide struck the perfect balance between telling us about the monuments and buildings we were seeing, giving us beautiful photo opportunities with the sunset, and letting us talk amongst ourselves. We are so glad we booked and definitely encourage others to do so.

Perfect Day in Sintra

We had a wonderful tour of Sintra, the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. Our tour guide, Ravi M., was kind, warm, knowledgeable and fun. Getting to ride in his vintage convertible was an added bonus and made the experience even more magical. We can’t say enough about Ravi and how much both myself and my children enjoyed our time with him. He gave us recommendations to make the most of our last day when we returned to Lisbon.
