Awesome experience and our tour guide Filipe was great!

We had an amazing experience when it comes to this tour and our guide Filipe. He was very knowledgeable and truly was able to answer all of our questions. The ride was smooth and he always had something to teach us about. He also had some very good recommendations for places to have lunch at, in Cascais and also, for things to do in Lisbon as well. Truly recommend this tour to everyone. Our group was also perfect, we had all ages and everyone got along very well. Don’t doubt to book it, it’s very worth it and if you can, ask for Filipe.

Sintra's Pena Palace and Regaleira are stunning, but what really elevated this experience was our guide, Lisa. Gracious and experienced, Lisa timed our stops perfectly while also leaving time for us to explore. Her knowledge of architecture and history added another layer to our experience, and we appreciated that she tailored the day to our interests as she learned about us. We ended the tour with a drive down the amazing coastline back to Lisbon. We highly recommend Lisa and will definitely request her on any return trips!

A definate!

This was an amazing tour. Our tour Guide Bruno was excellent and very knowledgeable. The tour was top tier, seeing 3 separate areas, Sintra, pena palace and Cabo de Roca. Note: There is a good amt of elevation climbing and stairs for anyone who has mobility issues. The tour was approximately 10.5hrs from pickup to drop-off. So be prepared. However you do get 2.5 hrs of free time in Sintra for lunch.

We enjoyed Tuk Tuk...

We enjoyed Tuk Tuk experience. We were picked up and dropped of at our Airbnb. The driver did not rushed us at the stops so we were able to take plenty of pictures. With that being said, I would not book Tuk Tuk in advance as there are many hanging around and available anytime and better price could be negotiated.

Great first intro to Lisbon

Great opportunity to orient ourselves to Lisbon as first-time visitors. Our tour guide, Francesco, was fabulous- knowledgeable and engaging. He navigated the streets and traffic with care but kept us on track so that by the end of the four hours we had seen all the major landmarks and views. He gave us tips for continued touring, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed the cool breezes in the back of the tuk-tuk which was great in the warm sun. We are so glad we made this our first activity after our AM flight arrival - no time for jet lag as we were having too much fun!

Wonderful way in a day to...

Wonderful way in a day to see four unique sites, including Fatima. We were there the day before the 13 October event where hundreds of thousands of pilgrims arrive. After Fatima, we visited Batalha which is a very interesting Gothic church built in celebration of the Portuguese victory over the Spanish. Then we went. to Nazare where the biggest waves in the world are to be found - a very interesting fishing village and we enjoyed a fantastic lunch of doraude. The it was off to the Obidos fortified village / town which is both quaint and picturesque and the walls are walkable (if one has a head for heights)

Tour of Sintra & castle

This was a great tour. Very informative and a great way to see & learn about some of the history of Portugal. Our tour guide, Joseph, was exceptional. Very personable and knowledgeable. Do be advised that there is a lot of steep uphill walking, on cobblestone, which can be very slick when wet. That is te case with much of the area, but very worthwhile, if you can do it.

Ivo and Rocha were great...

Ivo and Rocha were great maneuvering through the small streets of Sintra and sharing history and spots to not miss. Be aware there’s a lot of walking both uphill and downtown from the bus drop off stops to the front of the palaces on top of obviously the walking around the palaces.

Our trip to the Pena Palace and Regaleira was outstanding. Daigo was a great guide. He picked us up on time and drove to each of the locations with ease. He provided quality historical information as we drove. Daigo walked us through both properties. It was amazing. He knew all of the staff working the gates at each location. The “skip the line” tour was certainly worth our while. Saved us a lot of time waiting. We simply followed Daigo and he did all of the work. He knew the ins and outs of each property. He shared interesting details of each room that we toured. In between properties, we had plenty of time for some lunch and a little shopping. We were driven back to our hotel at the end of the tour.

Johnny was and excellent guide. He spoke fantastic English and was very knowledgeable about Lisbon. The tour included many stops and Johnny was able to tell us not only the history but current affairs having to do with many of the stops. Highly recommend this tour and getting Johnny as your guide.

Porto with a twist!

We left at 7:30 to head to Porto. Our first stop Obidos was not busy at all We walked the fort walls which was a bit scary for me. A lot of stores were not open yet. 2nd stop was Aveiro which we did a ride on the boat. It was $15 dollars each. Then we headed to Porto which was amazing. Not worth the $700. I could have taken a train. Great memories
