Sintra's Pena Palace and Regaleira are stunning, but what really elevated this experience was our guide, Lisa. Gracious and experienced, Lisa timed our stops perfectly while also leaving time for us to explore. Her knowledge of architecture and history added another layer to our experience, and we appreciated that she tailored the day to our interests as she learned about us. We ended the tour with a drive down the amazing coastline back to Lisbon. We highly recommend Lisa and will definitely request her on any return trips!

A definate!

This was an amazing tour. Our tour Guide Bruno was excellent and very knowledgeable. The tour was top tier, seeing 3 separate areas, Sintra, pena palace and Cabo de Roca. Note: There is a good amt of elevation climbing and stairs for anyone who has mobility issues. The tour was approximately 10.5hrs from pickup to drop-off. So be prepared. However you do get 2.5 hrs of free time in Sintra for lunch.

Four hour tour with Rafael

The 4 hour private tour exceeded expectations. The van was large and clean and Rafael was a fantastic host. He took us to Sintra and made suggestions as to what to see and do. He then suggested a tour of Lisbon and he took us to all of the different areas of the city so that we could see how different they were from one another. We stopped for pictures at different times whenever we desired. Rafael was wonderful providing insight and history into whatever we visited. He was friendly and warm and his English was excellent. He ended the day by taking us to a wonderful park high in the hills overlooking Lisbon that allowed us to view the entire city from afar and showing all of the areas throughout that we visited. Small group tour

We had a six passenger van, which was very comfortable. A great group of unrelated people. Pedro was an awesome guide, clearly a history, professor, and amateur comedian. Never felt rushed and we had a lot of input on how long we stayed at places. 10/10 would recommend.

We enjoyed Tuk Tuk...

We enjoyed Tuk Tuk experience. We were picked up and dropped of at our Airbnb. The driver did not rushed us at the stops so we were able to take plenty of pictures. With that being said, I would not book Tuk Tuk in advance as there are many hanging around and available anytime and better price could be negotiated.

Wonderful Intro to Lisbon!

The Tuk Tuk tour is a fun, efficient way of meeting Lisbon. This is especially true during the morning after your trans-Atlantic flight while waiting for your hotel room. It will definitely help you stay awake. Our guide, Ania, was fantastic! Not only was she very knowledgeable about Portugese history and customs but she was quite entertaining and an excellent driver! The 3 hours flew by! When Ania dropped us off at our hotel we definitely had a better, more informed, idea of how and where to spend our next 3 days in Lisbon! The Tuk Tuk tour was a fabulous way to start our two week adventure!

Tour of Sintra & castle

This was a great tour. Very informative and a great way to see & learn about some of the history of Portugal. Our tour guide, Joseph, was exceptional. Very personable and knowledgeable. Do be advised that there is a lot of steep uphill walking, on cobblestone, which can be very slick when wet. That is te case with much of the area, but very worthwhile, if you can do it.

Ivo and Rocha were great...

Ivo and Rocha were great maneuvering through the small streets of Sintra and sharing history and spots to not miss. Be aware there’s a lot of walking both uphill and downtown from the bus drop off stops to the front of the palaces on top of obviously the walking around the palaces.

Our trip to the Pena Palace and Regaleira was outstanding. Daigo was a great guide. He picked us up on time and drove to each of the locations with ease. He provided quality historical information as we drove. Daigo walked us through both properties. It was amazing. He knew all of the staff working the gates at each location. The “skip the line” tour was certainly worth our while. Saved us a lot of time waiting. We simply followed Daigo and he did all of the work. He knew the ins and outs of each property. He shared interesting details of each room that we toured. In between properties, we had plenty of time for some lunch and a little shopping. We were driven back to our hotel at the end of the tour.

Porto with a twist!

We left at 7:30 to head to Porto. Our first stop Obidos was not busy at all We walked the fort walls which was a bit scary for me. A lot of stores were not open yet. 2nd stop was Aveiro which we did a ride on the boat. It was $15 dollars each. Then we headed to Porto which was amazing. Not worth the $700. I could have taken a train. Great memories
