Amazing authentic experience in the heart of Madrid. The setting was super cool and those putting on the performance were spectacular. The only disappointment was there was a door with a glass window on my right side. I could hear and see the performers preparing just prior to their coming on stage for each "act". That should be blocked off as it was very distracting as I tried to watch the performance.

A must upon arrival in Madrid

We highly recommend taking this tour as soon as you arrive in Madrid. You will get a great overview of the sights and will be able to decide what you want to immerse yourself in. Our driver, Tristan, was full of information and stories to help us learn more about Madrid. He was very accommodating and fun. We took the 2-hour tour. One note is you need to know that you get on the Tuk Tuk in the garage at the palace. The website was not clear about that.

Also the audio headphones they gave us we're definitely needed. They provide you don't need to bring your own.

Make sure you wear comfortable sneakers and bring a water because this walking tour will definitely require you to climb up some hills! But it will be worth it once you make it, breathtaking views, rich history, amazing culture, and excellent tour guides! Flor and Ignacio are very knowledgeable and bring history to life when guiding the groups through these beautiful regions! Our bus driver Victor got us there and back safely! Book your tour as soon as possible! (Note: 2 cities is enough, I’m glad I didn’t book the 3-city tour, I think that is for the more advanced travelers.)

Tour was organized and as expected. The tour guide was nice and asked us if we had particular artists it was important to see. The museum itself is huge so 90 minutes isn't truly enough, but the ticket is valid for the whole day so you can stay later if you want. The tour itself was informative. I know very little about art, but the guide pointed out interesting features of the different art we saw. I do recommend doing a bit of research ahead of time anyway, as there's so much historical context behind the art that the more you know the better experience you'll have

Great Tapas on the go!

This is an excellent way to get your bearings in the city while you sample some great food and some good drinks. Our guide Silvia was amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and very informative. The places she chose were mostly family owned businesses, established over generations. We sampled many great dishes that we would not have chosen without her guidance. We ate well, drank responsibly and had a great time. During the tour of the city she helped us understand some cultural idiosyncrasies that made for a great experience.

Wonderful time and great meal

We lucked out with a small class of 6 people including ourselves. Benji and Nico were great hosts and walked us through the steps of creating three different types of paella while keeping our glasses full of Cava. The feast after was hidden away in their beautiful basement surrounded by brick. We were treated to delicious appetizers of gazpacho and bocadillo de calamares that the staff had prepared for us. We had both a white and red wine with our lunch of the three types a paella we prepared - meat, seafood and vegetable - all very delicious. For dessert we had churros con chocolat and some light, airy cream which I forgot what it was called but all delicious. The best part was meeting our fellow travelers and hearing their stories.

A Perfectly Balanced Day in Historic Toledo

Our day trip to Toledo was a great mix of history, culture, and scenery. The city’s cobblestone streets and layered influences from Christian, Jewish, and Muslim heritage made it fascinating to explore. The guided tour was engaging without feeling rushed. Visiting the Toledo Cathedral was a standout—stunning in every way—and the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca added a unique cultural perspective. We were unsure about lunch at a historic war museum vs a local restaurant, but it ended up being a pleasant surprise with a nice setting and a nice selection of traditional tapas items. Overall, a well-paced and memorable way to experience one of Spain’s most historic cities.
