This beautiful canyon lies nestled just north of Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. The head of the canyon features a natural spring that decorates the walls with lush greenery and water seeps. You will find plenty of shade along this trail, and at your destination, as the trail ends at a massive pictograph panel tucked inside a large alcove. The route is moderately challenging and does involve some steep steps and off-camber footing. There is a very secure rock pathway with a guardrail that extends down along the side of the canyon wall. This is a beautiful section of trail but could be slow-going for some and requires good balance and self awareness. The pictograph panel is one of the largest in the immediate area, featuring unique colors and depictions of figures that aren’t found anywhere else. There is access to a section of sand dunes that can provide the opportunity to sand board as well!! Total hiking miles is .9 round trip and about 300 feet elevation change. (Zion, Bryce)

Get ready for the most fun you’ve ever had! No matter your age (I’m 57) you can do this! My husband drove and Cayenne (not spelled that way?) led the way to the most fun we’ve had in a long time. I even did the sand board! What is nice is they pick you up and take you back to the top!! Book this now! You won’t regret it!

Rip-Roaring Ride, Epic Sunset, and a Guide Who Made It Unforgettable 🌄🔥

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Mad Moose Rentals & Tours on their Dark Sky UTV Tour—and that’s saying a lot coming from people who already own UTVs! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The equipment was in excellent condition—clean, well-maintained, and clearly built for a fun and safe ride. You can tell they take pride in what they offer. And then there’s Nick… hands down one of the best guides we’ve ever had. He struck the perfect balance of fun, engaging, and professional. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and kept the energy high the entire time. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it shows. The ride itself? An absolute rip-roaring blast. Even as experienced riders, we were grinning the entire time. The terrain and pacing were spot on. One thing to note—the stargazing portion is fairly minimal, so if that’s your main focus, just set expectations accordingly. That said, the sunset stop at the “toll booths” was absolutely beautiful and ended up being a standout moment of the tour. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience and one we’d absolutely recommend—whether you’re new to UTVs or experienced like us. We’ll definitely be back!

ROAM great UTV experience

We had an amazing experience with ROAM UTV company, especially considering we had to reschedule at the last minute for the very next day. They were incredibly easy to get in touch with and went out of their way to accommodate us with less than 24 hours’ notice. We truly appreciated the flexibility, as we were really looking forward to this adventure. Our tour guide and driver, Johnny, made the experience even better. He shared some of his own experiences with the company, which made him very personable and easy to talk to. He was happy to answer all of our questions and even tailored parts of the ride based on what we were curious about. On top of that, he gave us a fantastic ride and took some amazing photos for us to remember the trip. Overall, I highly recommend both the company and the experience. It was seamless, fun, and memorable from start to finish!

Breathing views and upper body strength!

What a fun afternoon! This tour is definitely worth booking. The guides were awesome at explaining what to do and making us feel extremely safe and comfortable. The excursion started off taking the UTVs on a quick 5 minute drive on the highway before going off road. The rest of the way through dirt and trees was fun but slow paced for safety. Once we arrived to the slot canyons we all put on helmets and made our way inside. We left everything back the at vehicles, sunglasses and backpacks included. They just get in the way. So pack lightly! The climb itself was definitely strenuous but doable. The guides walk you through how to get over each obstacle and if you take their advice, each boulder is very manageable. The view from inside is phenomenal. Photos don’t do it justice. Truly it was an unforgettable day. I would recommend you booking this tour as well.

Amazing Guided Experience

Absolutely incredible experience! Excellent communication before the trip detailing all the important details and meeting place. We even had a plan b in place in case the narrows were closed. Michael was an incredible guide providing great directions and tips to navigate the hike. He allowed our teenagers to go at a pace they enjoyed and have said this hike was the highlight of our vacation! The gear was exactly what you needed to have an enjoyable time in the water. Very fun activity

We had a great time with the UTV and slot Canyon tour. Our guides Kyle and Rob were excellent. They were both very knowledgeable, but also didn’t take themselves too seriously. Our three sons ages 14, 11, eight, all really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend and would do it again, especially one of the longer tours.

So worth the money!! Booked this for my husband who is an avid side by side rider and was worried it was just going to be driving around at 10mph in a little area, definitely was not! Rick was our guide and was awesome! We got a little over a full 2 hrs of pretty intense riding, he tailored it a bit to skill level of the group I think, we got up to speeds of nearly 50 in some spots. Minimal safety talk just straight to riding. Awesome experience. Stunning views everywhere, able to stop at overlooks, went a longggg way out!

Our favorite part of the trip!

One of our favorite experiences while visiting Zion. We had two kids, ages 5 and 7. Brent was very helpful with them and offered a booster so our 5 year old could see better in the ATV. We loved trying sand boarding, such a fun experience! The slot canyon was amazing too. Brent provided us so much cool information on the history of the canyons and pointed out things along the way. Would definitely do this again and 100% recommend!!

Super fun, off the beaten path experience

We went in December and while it was forecasted to rain, the tour operator helped us to understand how weather forecasts can not be always be relied upon for the area we were touring. They were right, and we didn’t get any rain during our tour. Our guide was very friendly, skilled at driving and knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting. We had a fantastic time.

Highlight of our Zion trip

This was our first time riding e-bikes and it was a great experience. The bikes were easy to use and our guide Lillian was so helpful with giving clear instructions on what gear to use and navigating the trail or road. We had already done the park on the shuttle but this tour took us to places we didn’t see on the shuttle. Lillian had an extensive knowledge of the park and was extremely informative in answering all of our questions. Great tour. We loved every minute of it!
