The Narrows Hike is one of three bucket list hikes in Zion, and the only one that doesn't require a permit unless you plan to camp miles upriver. The slot canyon is deep and very dramatic with spectacular and sometimes surprising views the entire way. The dry trail in and out is flat, and paved but astonishingly beautiful. In addition, wading in the water provides a low impact core workout. At one point along the way there is a giant boulder in the river that is perfect for posed picture taking, there are warm-water springs all along the way, tiny birds that walk underwater, hundreds of trees damaged by rockfall, the world's tiniest snail, and water seeping out of solid rock. This is truly a marvelous hike with spectacular scenery and many educational opportunities.

Wonderful way to experience nature

Rachel (I believe- the other "R" but not Reagan) took us out. We were waiting for a group of 9 that were late! The lead guide suggested Rachel take my son and I out on our own- which worked out great. The horses are in excellent condition and know their job. We rode the horses out to a slot canyon and walked on foot through the short canyon- incredible. Got back on the horses (with a leg up) and rode back. We had smiles on our faces from start to finish. This was our last tour of our vacation and it was a great way to end our vacation.

Ride the dunes

So glad that we added this excursion towards the end of our trip to Arizona and Utah. Driving the UTV through the coral pink sands was a blast. This was followed by a short hike through a cool slot canyon and finally the chance to sled or sandboard down the sand dunes. Doing this with the tour gave us access to sand dunes not used by the general public and pick up service at the bottom of the dunes so we didn’t have to climb the dunes to sled again which was a huge plus. Our guides were really fantastic and made the experience even more fun!

Best 1st day in Zion

Excellent 1st full day in Zion. We got our bikes at 11:00 for a 3 hour ride. Mabry (I hope I spelled that right) was in charge and casual at the same time. This trip was with our 15 yr old grandson and he really liked it. The bikes were easy to get used to. Our ride followed the bike trails and the same road to the end of the canyon that shuttle takes. A great way to see and get oriented to the park.

Our family of 6 (4 kids) had the best experience! We had Jordan as our tour guide. He took us on a fun UTV ride to the sand dunes to then go sandboarding. He took pictures of our family’s experience for us. He then took us to the slot canyon. He didn’t just guide us through but gave us some fun facts and explained things to us while walking. He knew the best photo spots too! I cannot thank him enough for making our trip to Utah that much more special!

This was a fun and unique way to experience the slot canyons and beautiful landscapes of southern Utah. Our guide, Sequoia, clearly loved her job and sharing her knowledge of the area. Best ever tour...

It is the most unique experience we have had. Riding in the UTV on the sand trails with Brinley was a blast and surfing the sand dunes was an awesome experience. The walk thru the water swept canyon was beyond AMAZING. Brinley was soooo considerate and filled with bits of knowledge of the site and it's history. This was so much better than any of the other tours that we had and are promoted in the tradtionally marketed sites. Do this tour with Razors Edge Tours ... they're the best!!

Breathing views and upper body strength!

What a fun afternoon! This tour is definitely worth booking. The guides were awesome at explaining what to do and making us feel extremely safe and comfortable. The excursion started off taking the UTVs on a quick 5 minute drive on the highway before going off road. The rest of the way through dirt and trees was fun but slow paced for safety. Once we arrived to the slot canyons we all put on helmets and made our way inside. We left everything back the at vehicles, sunglasses and backpacks included. They just get in the way. So pack lightly! The climb itself was definitely strenuous but doable. The guides walk you through how to get over each obstacle and if you take their advice, each boulder is very manageable. The view from inside is phenomenal. Photos don’t do it justice. Truly it was an unforgettable day. I would recommend you booking this tour as well.

Knowledgeable Friendly Guides

We met Michael and Roman right where they said they'd be and the adventure began. Attention was paid to having appropriately fitting gear for a great experience. The water was fast on the morning that we went so we weren't able to see the rocks in the water. Michael knew where to walk though and kept us from too treacherous a path. Our guides were social and interesting to talk to. We learned about the area and culture. The scenery is unbelievably beautiful and the pictures that we took don't do it justice. Wonderful experience and wonderful guides. If we go back to Zion again, we would hire them. Our teenagers both agreed it was the highlight of the trip.

You HAVE to do this

10/10 adventure and guide. The ATV ride to the canyon is exciting itself. You seriously cannot beat the views. Our guide Tyler was super friendly and knowledgeable. He let us go at our pace and had so much info about the terrain and history of the canyons. You can tell he loves his job. If you go do NOT skip the sand boarding !!!!

So worth the money!! Booked this for my husband who is an avid side by side rider and was worried it was just going to be driving around at 10mph in a little area, definitely was not! Rick was our guide and was awesome! We got a little over a full 2 hrs of pretty intense riding, he tailored it a bit to skill level of the group I think, we got up to speeds of nearly 50 in some spots. Minimal safety talk just straight to riding. Awesome experience. Stunning views everywhere, able to stop at overlooks, went a longggg way out!

This was so much fun! We were a bit nervous a first, my 19 year old was super nervous. After the first few steps strapped on he was good. It is so fun and not scary! Our guide Ted was fantastic and helped everyone feel calm and comfortable. This was all of our favorite part of a week trip.
