A perfect day!

Hassle free travel with a tour guide allowed us to focus on wildlife and the beautiful scenery. Our guide Rose was always on the lookout for wildlife and we stopped at everyplace on my wish list and then some. She had the gear and scopes that allowed us to see more than what we could have on our own. It was a great day due to Obsidian Tours taking such good care of us including lunch!

We got to the highlights...

We got to the highlights of the lower loop. Ron was super accommodating and informative. He made sure we timed it right so we could see Old Faithful erupt. It did not disappoint. He picked a beautiful spot on Yellowstone Lake for our picnic. We had plenty of tasty snacks and Ron was quick to serve hot coffee and hot chocolates when we had a break. We spotted plenty of bison in Hayden Valley and were lucky to see a grizzly bear digging in a field looking for food. Very enjoyable.

Best way to see the park!

I’m here with my son and have to be the driver, so I miss a lot along the way. This is the best way to see all of the highlights of the park navigated by someone who knows it far better than any tourist. Cody was very personable and extremely knowledgeable about Yellowstone and its history. We had a great lunch in a picnic area. Nothing felt rushed and the group was just the right size (11 of us?). I would highly recommend this tour!

Complete tour of Yellowstone

My husband and I went on this eight hour tour in September. The driver and owner of the van Yellowstone Open Air Tours (307-587-6988), Sunny was absolutely wonderful! The tour extended beyond the eight hours because she wanted to make sure we witnessed the springs and geysers when the skies cleared and see wildlife. We saw all the major features (geysers, mud pots, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, upper and lower falls, etc) as well as bison, elk, a grizzly bear. Sunny has an engaging personality and provided very interesting facts and stories related to the park. Would highly recommend!

Animals abound

Even though it’s an early morning excursion, you do see the wildlife at this time of day. We saw a wolf, bear, lots of bison, the antelope, and bald eagle. To our guide was knowledgeable and efficient, and made the day enjoyable and gave plenty of bathroom breaks. The only animal we did not see it was any goat.

Fabulous Tour!

Josh picked us up at 5:30 AM and took us to see the south loop. He touched base with me a few times in the days before our tour and let me know what to expect weather wise. We had a fabulous day! Josh is extremely knowledgable about the park and everything in it! We were very fortunate to see a grizzly, a pack of wolves playing, and feeding off a bison carcass. We saw several hot springs and geyser basins. We saw everything we could possibly want to see. Josh's knowledge about the park and its features was amazing. We gained a new appreciation for all things Yellowstone. We would Highly recommend Josh to anyone wanting to see the park and learn all about it!!

Lower Loop Yellowstone full day tour

The tour did exactly as advertised. What a great way to see a lot of Yellowstone in a day. It was an early start but absolutely needed it given the size of the park. Our guide Eddie was excellent, very knowledgeable and flexible with what we saw. He couldn’t order the wildlife but we saw plenty and even managed to see two bears at the end of the day. Pastries breakfast and a sandwich lunch with plenty of water was included. We loved it.

Fantastic experience

It was convenient to contact them and book pick n drop from airport. Cost was fair. Thanks a ton to Tauni from Casanova tours for quick response. Our guides Issac, Alex and michaela were perfect for every day guidance. Just follow them, they know what's best. Stay inside yellowstone national park if you are renting a car otherwise stay in west yellowstone. For first time visitors, highly recommended to hire a tour guide. It's totally worth. Although it's a tourist place but people here are so honest and won't try to trick tourists. Caldera shuttles were very responsive and good too. But we sticked to Casanova.
