My wife and I had a private tour in July of 2026. This was by far the highlight of our trip to Yellowstone. On our search for wildlife, we saw a Blackbear, peregrine falcons, 3 grizzly's on a bison carcass, another grizzly on his own (1184 I think was the designation). In addition we saw other birds, and plant life. And of course Bison, lots and lots of Bison. What made it so great is this wasn't a dry, rehearsed trip. We hit the jackpot with the guide for our trip when we were set up with Isaac. Isaac's enthusiasm and excitement at seeing things himself was infectious, and he approached the entire trip with wanting to share his enthusiasm with new people. It didn't feel like a regurgitation - it felt like we made a new friend, and got to hang out with him for a few hours while he showed us a bunch of really cool stuff he knew how to find.
The search for animals was extremely successful, and attribute it to a combination of a bit of luck with the weather, and more than a bit of skill and insider information on Isaac's part. As tourists, there is no way we could possibly have known all of the places to go. Isaac, if you read this, we had a blast - and I may just come back for that flyfishing trip at some point in the future.

Lots of interesting information about the park and the many animals that call it home. Saw black bears in 3 different places and baby peregrine falcons.

Isaac was incredible and this excursion was easily the highlight of our trip to Yellowstone. He went above and beyond to make sure we could see wildlife! We saw black bears, moose, bald and gold eagle, pronghorn, coyote, lots of bison and he also used his telescope to show us a grizzly, black wolf, and peregrine falcon nest. He is from the area and is so passionate and knowledgeable. It was such an enjoyable excursion.. our whole family absolutely loved it

Outstanding experience. Our guide Isaac was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and just all around amazing. There were four of us and he took pains to ensure we all had an amazing experience. We saw elk, bison, swans and ravens. We also saw wolves feeding on an elk carcass and a grizzly bear digging for roots and possibly some kind of rodent. We also had the good fortune to see a great horned owl which was unbelievable. This was truly an amazing tour and we will treasure our experience.

My husband and I had an awesome time on our evening wildlife encounter with Alex as our guide! She was incredibly kind and flexible—when I lost my purse and had a bit of a meltdown (oops), she adjusted the schedule and stayed late to make sure we didn’t miss out. Alex is a great conversationalist and incredibly knowledgeable about Yellowstone’s wildlife. We spotted a bear, a golden eagle, and tons of bison and elk. We didn’t catch the wolves this time, but not for lack of effort—Alex gave it her all. Highly recommend this experience, and huge thanks to Alex for making it memorable!

We had a great time with our guide Isaac. He was very knowledgeable about not just the animals in Yellowstone but all things Montana. We saw your typical bison and elk during our tour and were also able to see a badger, black bear, and a grizzly bear and her cubs. My family enjoyed talking with him about our dogs, especially my youngest son and exchanging funny dog stories. Thank you Isaac for this memorable experience!

Es hat alles bestens geklappt. Ich wurde pünktlich vom Guide in meiner Lodge abgeholt. Das Erlebnis hat gehalten, was die Tourbeschreibung versprochen hat. Vor allem dank meines engagierten und und sehr kompetenten Guides Isaac.
Besonders die Erläuterung zur Wideransiedlung der Bisons bzw. deren Erhalt für ganz Nordamerika waren sehr beeindruckend und interessant.
