Driver was late picking us up. Others said he kept riding around the same wrong block. After pickup proceeded to last stop for passengers. No one there, no answers to calls or texts. WAITED 43 MINUTES!!! And that time was taken from our stops throughout the day. While I understand itinerary times are tentative, giving us less than the allotted times wasn’t what we signed up for! Last 3 stops we were given 15 minutes to visit these sites rather than the 45 mentioned in the itinerary. This was definitely NOT enough time esp at the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone as the walk was a distance and the site very crowded. At the mud pots were were told to stay on the boardwalk and avoid the paved path that led to the observation area. Boardwalk and back on the bus! Take you’re time but hurry up! Time constraints also effected our driver as his attitude worsened as the day wore on . During the final leg, guests were asking question about wildlife viewing at the Lamar Valley. Answers were vague and next question ignored.
As this is supposed to be a tour for older guests, the reduction is time was definitely unfair. To say we feel cheated is an understatement! A partial refund is in order as the company was definitely responsible for not affording us a decent amount of time to enjoy the sites. I would caution those signing up for this tour thinking it is geared toward older guests. (I’m certain this review will lead nowhere but I needed to try.)

People aren’t always at their pick up points on time which makes things a little difficult. That doesn’t mean your missing stops or spending less time at stops . The reasonwhy you have to stay on the boardwalks is for your safety. Maybe a private tour would be best for you then you can spend more time at places that you enjoy. Thank you for your reply.

Excellent tour. Our guide Mike knows the park and presented history along the way so we learned things about the park we would have never learned I will recommend this tour company anytime I can. Worth every penny!!!

Was a great one day introduction to the main spots to visit in the Park. Dave was a good driver and very informative about the Park, the history and how to get the most out of your visit. Nice lunch, snacks and water throughout the day. No gift, which was fine, but they need to remove it from the promo.

This was an amazing tour. We saw so much. Phoebe was an amazing tour she was so knowable. Highly recommend her. We were lucky enough to have a bison cross the street in front of us and the we saw another walking up the street and went right next to us. It was so great.

If you’re looking to see some of the most significant sites in the park I would highly recommend Yellowstone open air tours. We were treated with lots of wonderful information about Yellowstone by our guide Phoebe. She was so friendly and knowledgeable, she made for a memorable excursion through the park. We had some challenging weather throughout the day but Phoebe was gracious enough to take us to another view point when we were robbed of seeing the grand prismatic due to fog. We really appreciated her for going the extra mile. The travel bus was great for viewing because it was high enough to see. Also we were able to have the top open for part of the trip. Definitely recommend this tour company.

You will get your steps in!!!!! Mike and his lovely wife were amazing. Mike was funny with lots of stories. His lovely wife, Lori took lots of pictures of the group. Never felt rushed at the spots we stopped at. Recommendations for restaurant were spot on.

The van was beastly. It was in the 90’s and the air conditioning did not work. My body was soaked and I was very uncomfortable. The tour guide Mike was

Mike, the tour guide, gave us an excellent adventure, providing history and opportunities seeing the wildlife in the park. We went to many trails to majestic views of nature's beauty. We had lunch at a very beautiful Yellowstone hotel. The Old Faithful Hotel was amazing and waited to get a close view during of Old Faithful Geyser. This was a memorable experience.

There's only one way to see Yellowstone if you're not familiar with the Park. West Yellowstone Tours with Phoebe was amazing! She was extremely helpful in a nurturing way in explaining the different areas we visited! Also very accommodating at all her stops making sure we were good. The lunch we had was fantastic too! It was a long day but doing the tour was so much more rewarding as we got to see all that Yellowstone had to offer. Bus was comfortable and easy to get off and on. The driver took good care of us and gave very interesting information as we went through the park. Some of the guests were rude and did not seem to have come to see the park but sat on the bus and complained that it was hot and they were ready to go. I guess it is the world we live in.

From the meeting spot to begin the trip to the drop off this was a five star tour.
No worries about driving through the busy park, no worries about parking and our driver and guide was delightful. Dave was witty, knowledgeable knew all of the gems of Yellowstone to take us too. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

My family and I toured the lower loop of Yellowstone National Park with Cody Wyoming adventures, and I happily give them five stars out of five for their superior knowledge of the park and very warm and welcoming accommodations for tourists. First of all, SUNNY, the owner of Cody, Wyoming adventures, called us the night before to make sure that she prepared us for the day before and welcomed us. She also made sure that she knew where we wanted to be picked up from, which we chose the Historic Madison hotel. I thought it was very kind of her to introduce herself and chat with me for a bit the night before the tour. Shari was our tour guide, and she was superb! She was very welcoming, enthusiastic, and energetic. She knew a lot of the small details and history about the park, and she was very happy to accommodate for us. She knew how to get us to the most places at the right time to see spectacular views such as Old Faithful. We were able to have lunch as we were waiting to see Old Faithful spring up. Shari helped us to see the most sights and sounds as possible and that would fit our 8 hour tour duration. My very favorite was the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone National Park. All of the views of the park were spectacular, but the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone with its stunning waterfall was my very favorite! 😍 Additionally, this tour provided all of the snacks and water we could ask for and provided a very nice lunch! We have an adult child who was with us and she appreciated the snacks very much, so for those who have young children who get the munchies during tours, that will help you so much if you just happen to not have brought your own. If you are planning to see Yellowstone National Park, and you want to get the best experience, try Cody Wyoming Adventures. You will not be disappointed! 😄❤️
