Great lower loop tour with an experienced and knowledgeable guide. We saw animals that we would have otherwise missed and hidden gems that visitors rarely know about. At popular crowded sites we were dropped off as close as possible. So nice to sit back and leave the driving to someone else while you get to watch the scenery.

The tour starts early in the morning. You can meet the driver at the downtown Madison Hotel station or they will come pickup at certain hotels in the area. Our driver was very knowledgeable and helpful. By going so early we were able to see many wild animals you may not find later in the day. She was able to get our van over to the Old Faithful Lodge for the geyser perfect timing. We went on the lower loop tour and I feel we were able to see all the main sights. Got lots of great pictures that we will cherish forever. This comprehensive tour allowed us to return the next few days in our own car and have a better understanding of the whole Yellowstone experience. Highly recommended the whole day tour for your Yellowstone Park visit. Most fun experience was the bison jam!

My husband and I went on this eight hour tour in September. The driver and owner of the van Yellowstone Open Air Tours (307-587-6988), Sunny was absolutely wonderful!
The tour extended beyond the eight hours because she wanted to make sure we witnessed the springs and geysers when the skies cleared and see wildlife. We saw all the major features (geysers, mud pots, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, upper and lower falls, etc) as well as bison, elk, a grizzly bear. Sunny has an engaging personality and provided very interesting facts and stories related to the park. Would highly recommend!

This was by far the best tour in Yellowstone! Mike knew sooo much about the lower loop. We were kind of gimpy getting in and out of the van, but Mike was beyond kind and helpful. We captured Some beautiful pictures thanks to Mike.

Nice to not have to drive or deal with parking. I was hoping the driver would have told us more about the park. Our driver stayed at the vehicle at each stop and didn’t tell us much about each stop. I was hoping for more of an educational experience

I’m sorry but unfortunately when the park is busy and the guide has to wait for a parking spot it can take up to 2 hours just to get into the Grand Prismatic Spring and most guests don’t want to sit in a vehicle that long while the guide waits for parking.You could’ve stayed with them in the vehicle and talked more but every single tour company has to do that when it’s busy.Plus where we park is up to a mile away and most guests do not want to walk that far to get to the attractions.So we sometimes have to wait by the vehicle so you can actually see things.We are federally regulated on how long we can drive.So if you wait with the guide for up to 2 hours for a parking spot and then walk around.You wouldn’t see very much.We deal with the government.

We had the best time and saw everything we wanted to and more. Our guide Mike Burns was very knowledgeable, funny and very personable. When the fog was not cooperating, we went to plan B and and it was the best decision. Touring with this company ensures the closest parking and that you will see everything and more! The bus was very comfortable, the snacks were great and we loved our tour guide! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing tour guide Burns he was so knowledgeable and had to call an audible to change over which direction to go first cause of the weather he made our day. Burns was friendly had good jokes and very knowledgeable about the park, terrain and geological knowledge as well our the park. We had an amazing day!! Excellent. Saw and learned so much more than if we tried to do it alone. Parking and driving would be such a hassle, plus great to see things from the open bus. Saw Old Faithful, Herds of Bison (or it is Bisons?), Elks, Coyotes, and a lot of other stuff. Driver was a Wyoming native and very knowledgeable and personable. Pace was perfect.

The water in the coolers wasn't cold and some of the coolers did not have snacks in them. I booked the tour for 3 of us. I told the others that they will drop us off and pick us at the entrance for each site so that it would be less walking for us. I assumed that the 55+ was more for less physical challenging than dealing with younger people. Burns was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better guide. Otherwise it was awesome.

This tour hit all the highlights we wanted to see! Fun environment, you make friends on the way and enjoy the ride in comfort. We even took an extra side trip to an area not on our schedule which was awesome. Hearing the history of the area and learning about the plants an animals and local culture just made it a perfect day!
