Fantastic City Tour!

This tour is not one to miss! Our guide, Dace, did an excellent job sharing her knowledge of the city with us — as well as mixing in a few personal stories and adding a touch of humor. It was set at a very manageable walking pace (we had some people in their 20s and some 65+), and we even had a few opportunities to sit down. Since we had such a small group, a bonus was that we were able to go into a few areas of museums and Mozart/Beethoven’s apartment complexes that you wouldn’t know you could freely go into as a tourist just passing by. I recommend doing this towards the beginning of your stay as it really helps orient you around the Innere Stadt and Hofburg Palace area — and that’s on top of it being a great crash course introduction of the city of Vienna and Austrian history. Thank you Dace!

Lovely music in a beautiful setting

I really enjoyed this performance of The Four Seasons at Karlskirche. The music was beautiful and relaxing, and the church setting made the whole experience feel special and atmospheric. It does get quite cold inside, but they provide blankets, which was a thoughtful touch. Seating is unassigned within zones, so I’d recommend choosing your own seat rather than letting ushers direct you. I was initially placed in a spot with a poor view and had to move. Overall, a lovely and memorable classical music experience in a stunning venue.

The concert was held at St Peter’s Cathedral which is s gorgeous place to visit in itself. It was a feast for the eyes. The four musicians performed several well known pieces. They were highly skilled and a joy to listen to. The event was a huge success and well worth the money.

Amazing tour with LOTS of food

I had such a great time on this Vienna Food Tour. Our guide, Christoph, was amazing: funny, knowledgeable, and super welcoming. The group was small, which made it feel really personal and easy to chat with everyone. The tour itself was very smooth, with reservations handled for us, and it was nice to experience different parts of the city using various modes of transportation. The food was incredible and very generous in portion. We got to try a huuge variety of traditional Viennese cuisine. Overall, a fun and delicious experience that I’d definitely recommend.

Fantastic

Very interesting experience. Our guide Lilly provided lots of information and even some musical pieces related to the history of the places we visited. I would have loved more time at Melk abbey and also in Salzburg. However, I understand that such a long trip we cannot spend all the time we would like. Our driver was amazing for driving so many hours.

We had such a good time!...

We had such a good time! All the wines were excellent, and hearing the winemakers talk about their processes was very interesting. We had Rudi as our tour guide and he had so much great information about Vienna and it's history, in addition to his knowledge of wine. If you are vegetarian, the vegetarian lunch is incredible!

This was a great tour. Our guide Taras had very good knowledgeable of Vienna and explained to us much of the history of the city. He was a good driver too! The tour of the underground lake was also fascinating. It was spooky and beautiful at the same time. It was interesting to learn all the things it had been used for; first, a mine, then , during WWII , a place to build plane parts, and then ,as a tourist attraction. The castle was neat to see. It looked very old and foreboding. It's too bad we weren't able to enter, though we knew this was the case.
