No matter how little or how much time you have in Vienna, please book this tour! Go with an empty stomach and leave very full, very delighted and very informed about historical, cultural, social and culinary traditions in Vienna. Maria was an incredible guide and we had a fantastic time--highlight of the trip!
Great and interesting tour of places you would not likely find yourself….with interesting historical background to Vienna/Austria
Wolfi is genuinely invested in his guests having a good time and experiencing Vienna in an authentic way. I’d definitely recommend this activity.
We had a wonderful tour with Maria exploring several great eateries with local histories and connections. All of the sites are outside the touristy center of Vienna, and there’s a very helpful tutorial on public transportation throughout. And while there are plenty of pastries and cakes, there is also a savory stop at the end which means you will NOT need to have a dinner. Very good mix of restaurants and local foods. Charming and welcoming guide. A highlight of our Vienna experience. Highly recommend!
If you want to learn about authentic Viennese cuisine then this tour is perfect for you. Maria was a wonderful guide showing us the various desserts and coffee from Vienna. We finished at a very typical restaurant and had an amazing dinner. Maria was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. We highly recommend her.
This was a very fun tour going to several of the districts in Vienna seeing some very cool coffee houses and sampling goodies. I shouldn't really call it sampling as we had lovely portions of a lot of food. So much so we were stuffed but enjoyed every last bit. Even a nice glass of wine with dinner. I would highly recommend this foodie tour if you are interested in using the excellent public transportation in Vienna and tasting some wonderful food.
I booked the Coffee, Cake and Pastries Tour. I was the only one booked on the tour and they proceeded with just me anyway. I was super grateful and it says something about how reliable and personal the service is.
Maria was my guide and she was attentive and so, so knowledgable. Every spot she took me to was amazing. I couldn’t fault a single thing. I tried some cakes and pastries that I would never have known about or thought to try. I had the best food in Vienna on this tour! I’d highly recommend this company - the tour was the highlight of Vienna for me - and rounded off with a write up of all the places we went to and further recommendations.

A really fantastic tour. Maria was amazing and took us around the city seeing various place and tasting some amazing food. I wasn’t expecting to eat so much as these types of tours normally give you smaller samples but this was exceptional. Using the subway and tram too was a great way to experience the city. I would highly recommend this tour and get Maria if you can
Maria was an excellent guide. Was in Vienna for the holidays and it was very busy. She picked some amazing spots to try they were a little outside the main tourist areas. Places that we would never have found on our own. All of her picks were great. Great variety of spots.
Ended up being just me and my husband on this tour for the night. Our guide was a super lovely guy and took us to some great places we would not have known to try. We had choices on what to order but decided to let him choose since we aren't picky. It is a lot of food so you do not need to eat before. Great experience!
Okay, so maybe I just missed it in the description of the tour, but I didn't expect to get fed actual food after the cakes and pastries! It was delicious but I would have paced myself better, haha! Maria was great. She took us around Vienna to some great pre-booked spots (yay, no waiting) and shared a bit about the history and culture of the place/food before we dug in. We wandered around Vienna using both foot and public transportation, which was really easy/fun, and she gave great recommendations at the end for other places for drinks/food (including one we took her up on which ended us with a great view of Veinna from an old WWII anti-air tower that has been converted into an aquarium!). Great way to spend the evening!
We loved the tour. Maria introduced us to local cuisine as well as local history and tradition. She helped us navigate Vienna via public transportation and gave us a lot of helpful tips and information. Thanks Maria, we loved every minute of this tour.
Maria was an amazing guide. So friendly! The tour definitely has enough sugar to last you a month, but it was so much more than that! We learned about each neighborhood, explored multiple uses of transportation, and had delicious bites from amazing cafes. Would recommend!

I have written reviews of this tour in other places. My advice is: TAKE THE TOUR. The food choices were simply outstanding, outside of the tourist core of the city. Everything was beyond delicious and the guide was the best and the other guests congenial companions.

This tour was fabulous! Cannot recommend it highly enough. Our guide Maria took us on an excellently curated tour of the culinary highlights of Vienna including a coffee house, a family owned dessert shop, a unique Austrian ice cream shop and an absolutely incredible local restaurant that served up 2 savoury dishes and a local wine. If that weren’t enough, we toured around the city on public transit getting a history lesson along the way. If you do one thing in Vienna, it should be this.

This adventure was so much more than I expected. We had a group that was a perfect size of 8 people so we could easily travel from one part of the city to the next. Our guide, Maria, was very informative about the culture of different desserts we had. Being within our first few hours of landing in Vienna, she also helped us navigate the public transportation system both during the tour and with guidance for our next few days there. She even gave us a follow-up email with the names of the foods we had and their locations.

Our guide Maria did a great job on oir afternoon dessert tour. We had a small group of 5 which was great. Appreciated the thorough introduction to Vienna’s public transport system and how to use it as we moved about the city. We sampled an amazing amount of goodies and then had a small meal followed by another dessert.. We learned some about Vienna’s different neighborhood districts too. Thoroughly enjoyable. We loved this tour with Maria in Vienna. We had plenty of pastries, Vienna favorites and ice-cream. Then ended our tour having a traditional Vienna meal. Beef and dips, goulash, and potatoes.
We traveled by subway which was very easy and enjoyable. We definitely would recommend this tour with Maria!
