Excellent! Food was great, well prepared. Clean presentation on buffet ( I appreciated that) service was wonderful staff very attentive and thoughtful. Entertainment was well above expectations! Very fun and engaging AND exciting. We found it very captivating.

My husband and I had a great experience everything was just as expected and more. Jason was an incredible and knowledgeable tour guide who grew up in the area and knew a lot of unique information. We were only in town for two nights, so this was a great way to see many beautiful sights and experience the Colorado/Denver/Rocky Mountain area! I would recommend doing this for anyone visiting Denver for a convenient way to experience numerous places in a short time.

This excursion was more than top-notched and is the best we have ever taken. From start to finish this was an amazing adventure; starting with before boarding the train; there was a little 15 min show (only problem on this was the speakers were not very good, so it was hard to understand them) The entire trip to the Grand Canyon was nothing more than impressive! Noel was our train car host. She was engaging, funny and kept our interest! We took the grand tour which was a bus that went to two stops around the Grand Canyon and to my surprise was also provided a lunch buffet. Upon returning from the Grand Canyon we were treated to a mandolinist and a violinist and a visit from the "actors" from the pre-board show who "robbed" the passengers! If I could give this a 10 star I would! I highly recommend this excursion.

We were fortunate to secure the same driver in our return trip home. It was good to share our happy times in Vegas with him, like a good friend. He accommodated our request for an earlier pickup time and wished us well back home. Our driver was amazing.

This was an awesome tour and our kids loved it. It sent my husband and I down a Google rabbit hole learning about gold mining. We loved Doug (the salty retired miner who led the underground portion.) I wish we had time to buy him a drink and listen to his stories about his time as a miner. He did a great job of making sure all the kids could see in the front and took great pains to make sure their ear protection was in correctly before turning on the machinery. It was impressive to see the equipment they use and how much engineering, geology, and chemistry come together to make gold mining possible. Rick, who led the gold panning portion, was great with the kids. Everyone found little gold flakes thanks to him and his teaching abilities. I enjoyed talking with him about the local area, the gold mine’s relationship to the local indigenous population, and his background. We got to spend a solid 20-25 minutes learning to pan for gold at the end. The gal who taught the mining overview portion really knew her stuff and answered all of our random questions. She was really pleasant and patient with some wild questions from a few of the visitors. The length of this portion was perfect and they even have overhead heaters they turned on in the outdoor classroom area where we sat. I definitely recommend this!

This is an excellent show, a musical informative history of the dances of the major Polynesian Islands. The narrator, skillfully kept the momentum going with his engaging personality and hilarious sense of humor. The dancers and musicians are all professionally trained and extremely talented. The costumes are very colorful and enhance the dancers. The show is also interactive as the narrator encourages children and adults to participate on-stage. The buffet is tasty and plentiful and the wait staff and bartenders are friendly and efficient. The show is well-organized and well worth the admission cost

Beautiful way to travel to Boston. Weather was great, sailboats on the harbor. Listened to music on the dock in Salem waiting for the boat. Saw bad reviews from people buying one way tickets FROM Boston instead of TO Boston. Double check what sailing you’re buying!!! It’s worth it though. Way better than the train after a long day of shopping and sight seeing.

Our family with 3 kids had a great time on this raft trip down the Snake River. At the end of September, the rapids are not as wild which was perfect for us since we had never been white water rafting. The water was cold but wearing the wet suit really helped and it wasn’t anything that kept us from enjoying ourselves. The whole process from check in to transportation to rafting was smooth and easy. We would definitely use Dave Hansen again!
