This tour begins at your selected start time. Make your own way to the rental facility (conveniently located in the heart of Incline Village), and get acquainted with your energy-saving e-bike. This beginner-friendly option includes a hands-on tutorial, and all the gear and safety equipment you’ll need.
Once you’re comfortable, set off along the lake and explore at your own pace, without worrying about keeping up with a group. Touring by bike won’t just bring you up close and personal with the scenery: It’ll help you discover hidden beaches, coves, and other lakeside highlights many visitors miss.
You’ll have the opportunity to pause for photos, a snack break, and even swimming stops en route the safe East Shore Trail bike path, thanks to the flexibility of this half-day rental. The tour beaks at Sand Harbor: one of Lake Tahoe’s most popular swimming and boating destinations.
Finally, your outing ends when you return your bike and gear to the original rental facility.

This is one of the most beautiful trails I’ve ever seen! We had a perfect day in the 60s, the lake looked like glass! We took our time with lots of stops to take in the incredible views! I would highly recommend! Peter was very helpful getting us set up and telling us where to go.

An unbelievable and stunning views of Lake Tahoe. Take the Tahoe East Shore Trail connecting Incline Village to Sand Harbor State Park. Nevada State Park systems did an incredible job with vista views, history plaques and several beach access points that provide an unforgettable experience to anyone on bikes.

E bike rental went really smooth, from being able to check in half hour early, to being shown how to operate the bike, to being shown bike path. Booked the 3 hour tour, completed it in about 2 hour 45 mins, only because we stopped at various look out points and beaches. Bike path is very well maintained and you only have to be cautious of people using trail for walking. E bike can be used in normal mode, meaning peddled on your own, or with peddle assist which is really helpful on some of the inclines. Beautiful views through out. So if you like nature and like taking pictures, this tour is for you. Be aware that bike can go pretty quick and to wear layers. Tour was completed in month of November a couple days after storm, and there was snow along bike path and some ice on bike path. Check weather before booking.

Huge thanks to Vista Trail Bikes for this fantastic self-guided tour. 3-4hrs/half day rental was perfect for a short ride over and then scenic bike ride along the absolutely stunning East Shore Trail while having plenty of time to hop off our bikes to explore the beaches and coves on foot. The setup was perfect for everything we needed - helmets, locks, bungee, water with the ebike battery very useful for the inclines/hills along the way. Should be a relaxing activity for anyone active who is comfortable on a bike from commuting or occasional cycling. We really appreciate the detailed instructions and friendly advice from Vista, including flexibility after we called to explain we were stuck in traffic behind an accident and were running a little bit late. Would definitely recommend to friends and we'll look to do something like this again for any return trips to Tahoe.

These are pedal assist bikes so be prepared to work a little but the views and trail are worth it. The staff is excellent at prepping you for the ride, very knowledgeable. I did it solo and the used every drop of 4 hrs. Which was plenty of time out/pics/food/back. The weather was perfect.

Was able to see Sandy Harbor with ease. The view on the way was beautiful. The 4 hour worked great for us , plus the $2.00 per person ride and walk in fee was nice , since the parking was full.

I have never been on an E-Bike before, I would highly recommend it and I highly recommend this company! The bikes were great, they included the helmet, bottled water, bike lock, and map. The staff was very friendly and great with recommendation to ensure we understood how to use the bike. They answered all our questions.

It was a very beautiful and enjoyable ride. The bike made a very, very easy to do,, with the E bikes. The views were fantastic, the road was very good, people were all very friendly and courteous. We would do it again if we return, and I recommend it is a nice leisurely four hour trip

We really enjoyed this. Everyone working at Vista was very nice and accommodating. They gave us good instructions as we'd never ridden E Bikes before. The trail starts off through a neighborhood with a pretty steep decline so if you have an inexperienced rider like we did make sure to practice in the parking lot before venturing out. After the decline the trail goes for a good while by some really spectacular homes and gardens before going under the road through a short tunnel and coming out on the beach side. My son was the only one who went further and he said the beachside trail was very cool. The power assist on the E Bikes was fun and plenty powerful enough to handle any hills and especially the big hill we had to ride back up at the end. All in all a really fun time!

It was a great experience! Everyone was friendly at Vista! The bike path had its moments. A lot of people walking and they didn’t want to share the road. It made for a lot of start stops. Kids darting in and out. The views were absolutely beautiful!! Biking to the end to Sand Harbor and paying the small fee to get in was worth it! Had a few drinks and rested at the restaurant and took in the atmosphere! Definitely would do again!

The bike ride itself was AMAZING and SO pretty! The e bike was a life saver for the hills, but the hills weren’t bad! I would rate 5/5, but booking with Viator brought me down to a 3. The bike place had no confirmation of my reservation OR my payment, luckily it wasn’t a problem and I was still able to ride for my allotted time. Also, if you book directly through the bike store, it saves $40.
Overall great experience, but would not recommend booking through Viator.
