Skip the Queue

Good guide - both enthusiastic and knowledgable. The gallery is a must visit but that makes it insanely busy! Thank heavens we did a “skip the queue” tour - it still took 30 mins to get thro security. I could not have queued for an hour+ in the sweltering heat. A great experience overall.

Great way to enjoy Tuscany country side when visiting Florence.

We visited two wineries on the trip. The first stop was very delightful. Our winery host was a very jovial person happy to explain different types of wine and how to drink them. Tried 4 different wines along with a meat and cheese platter. Also got to try several oils. We liked it so much we ended up purchasing both wine and oil to ship home to the US. The second winery was a beautiful setting of a small family winery. It was more of a "tasting" than wine education here. Again we tried 4 wines then had a light lunch.

So much fun!!

This was such a fun honeymoon experience! My husband loved getting to drive the Fiat - they’re like a blast to zip around in. David was a great tour guide and took us through some beautiful Italian country. The little winery we stopped at was adorable and had a fantastic light lunch and better wine. It was the perfect amount of time for an excursion too! Only thing I’d add is maybe wear a hat and some sunscreen for the car ride if you’re pale like I am.

So much fun! Beautiful location

Safety first! No drinking and driving. You drive first and then wine taste! We were all tested on our ability to safely handle the Vespa - many on our tour (including myself) were unable to safely do so. Not to worry, we were not left behind. We were offered to drive or be a passenger with another a Fiat 500 (Topolino). I drove the Topolino (mouse car) 💝💝💝 which was so much fun, I think even more than the Vespa! We made 2 stops, one to sightsee, and one to enjoy a coffee if you wanted. Both were great. The lunch and wine tasting at the elegant winery was delicious. The location was so beautiful. Our guides Ilaria and Yo were exceptional - as guides and as people. Friendly, thoughtful and kind. Thank you both!

Wonderful Tuscan Lunch

This was an amazing experience. Way more than I had expected. We started with a tour of the property, lead by a very knowledgeable young lady (name escapes me). This was followed by a tasting experience of 4 of their wines (2 Brunellos), paired with a very nice lunch, antipasto and a wonderful, home made pasta. Of course, the best part was getting to meet so many fellow travelers during the lunch. It started down pouring as we headed back out to the car, so we all stayed inside for a while longer. There was no feeling of being rushed out of there because “our time was up”. This trip far exceeded expectations and was a great value at the offered price. This is a trip I will do again the next time I come back to the area.

I love pasta

Michelle was wonderful. She made it very easy to follow along and was humorous and very knowledgeable. It is a hands on activity and you will be standing for a couple of hours while preparing the food. It was delicious! We were a group of 14 and she handled everything by herself and with ease. Would definitely do this again, so much fun!!

It was a wonderful...

It was a wonderful experience once we got to The winery, there was a small miscommunication with the transfer to Adamo but Antonio was able to to pick us up and we enjoyed all the experience from our two guides/ sommeliers . The wines were delicious and learned very interesting facts about each one that we savor , we also had the board of meats and cheeses which complemented the whole experience. Thank you for a wonderful day and definitely will recommend it.

Private Tour: Highly Recommend

We happened to be the only family on the morning tour, so we enjoyed a private tour with our sommelier, Luigi. He provided a wealth of insight into the wine making process, effects of soil and climate, as well as regional differences that impact taste and quality. We tasted four wines with local bread, cheese, salami, and pancetta during which Luigi answered our many questions with good humor. The newly renovated tasting room in the deep Etruscan cellars was captivating and added to the experience. We enjoyed the Talosa Reserve and Rossi IGT Pietrose so much we shipped several home. A terrific experience; we highly recommend.
