My 11 year old son and I...

My 11 year old son and I had a great time with Alessio on this tour. Since it was just the two of us, he customized the tour to show us another park, a neighborhood often filmed in movies, as well as the Borghese gardens. We stopped frequently for photos and informs on various landmarks and cool sights. It was a highlight of our trip and the e-bikes made it easy to cover a lot in the time allotted. Highly recommend!

Worth the early wake up!

This was a great experience!! Getting to see Rome wake up was amazing. We did this on our first morning in Rome and it helped us know what we wanted to come back to later. Super efficient and peaceful way to get to know the city. Also our host, Bruno, was knowledgeable and patient in showing us all of the important Roman sites. Would recommend this to anyone with a short stay in Rome!

Awesome time on the appian way

This is such a fun time. Last year my wife and I rented e-bikes and went on our exploration of the Appian way. It was so fun to go with the guide and learn so much more. Sylvia was fantastic and kind. The ride is so fun. It is amazing to see such beautiful green in the city and the visit to the catacombs was so cool. Very interesting experience. Finally the aqueduct park. Wow! Make sure to go in the afternoon for the sunset there. It is so pretty and the pictures you can take are phenomenal. Then we got a great snack on the way back which was so good. 10/10 for sure.

This was amazing and such...

This was amazing and such a fun way to see part of the city we otherwise wouldn’t have gotten to see. Our guide was fantastic and was also so great with our younger son to keep him interested throughout. The bikes were super easy to use and the route on the city streets was well thought out with lots of care and help crossing busy streets. Beautiful sites and scenery and it was so fun to see some of these important sites away from the busy and crowded areas of the city.

Must Do!

Amazing! Laura was thorough, informative, educational, and an avid biker herself. Felt safe and comfortable. E-bikes are like new. Some biking knowledge is helpful. Roads are 2,000-plus years old. We were on the bikes for must longer than I thought, which was a plus. Catacombs were a must see! Unbelievable what sacrifices families did for their deceased and how they honored them. So eye opening. After tour Laura was helpful in referring us to local restaurants and tourist activities.

What a fun ride!

We didn’t really know what to expect of this tour but Giorgio our guide went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day. The tour was about 4 hours/ 15km on city streets and bike paths, using comfortable e-bikes. Giorgio highlighted many of Rome’s attractions, allowing lots of time for pictures and potty/water/rest breaks. He even volunteered to be our unofficial photographer and we got lots of great pics! The pace was adequate and we always felt safe. The bike path along the river at golden hour was magical.

Explore Rome’s hidden gems

We learned a lot about Roman history while getting plenty of exercise. We saw parts of Rome that many tourists often miss, so we felt like this was a hidden gem of an experience. Our tour guide, Ileana, was knowledgeable, patient and very helpful. We ran into issues getting to the Basilica due to of issues with the city buses running late. Ileana was very understanding and greeted us warmly when we arrived a few minutes late.

Excellent, 100% recommend

This was an excellent half day (approx 5 hours) activity, skillfully led by our guide, Iman, who was friendly and attentive at all times, ensuring we knew what to expect at each stage of the ride. Prior to departing, we were given clear instructions on how the bikes worked and also had the opportunity for a brief test-ride. This was our first experience of e-bikes and they were very easy to use (and definitely took all the pain out of any inclines!) The additional stop at the catacombs is well worth doing. Iman sorted the tickets and then left us in the capable hands of the official guide who lead us into the catacombs for an awe-inspiring and very informative tour (approx 45 mins long). Iman stayed with the bikes, looking after our possessions (safely housed in handlebar bags) and we continued with the ride, stopping along the way for Iman to point out ancient walls, buildings and the aqueduct. The Appian Way is an ancient cobbled road, be prepared for some bone rattling! A stretch of approx 1 Km is the original very large and very uneven cobbles. Iman prepared us for this section prior, explaining that it was probably the most challenging part of the 23Km ride, and navigated us through them expertly. He was very patient when riders preferred to push bikes along rather than ride and made sure he checked in on any stragglers. There was not a great deal of road-riding, but each time, Iman made sure we knew what was coming and guided us safely. The brunch was better than I had expected, in a local cafe, and consisted of a variety of sandwiches and pastries and a non-alcoholic drink. (Dietary requirements were checked at the beginning of the day to ensure they were catered for). As with any cycle ride, expect some saddle-soreness, especially given the cobbly nature of much of the route (and saddles which were not at all forgiving!). However, don't let this put you off as I would 100% recommend the tour and would gladly do it again myself. (Worst case scenario, bring your own cushioned saddle-cover!)

Get on Your Bike!

I am not going to lie, I was uncertain about this when my friend booked it. I would not be a natural cyclist and cycling in city centre Rome seemed to be the mother of all bad ideas. But I was wrong and fully enjoyed the experience. From the friendly welcome from our knowledgeable and lovely guide, Marco to our trial run on the bikes outside the shop - I knew it was going to be fine. Off we went with a turbo to get us up the hill. Just the right amount of stops for the right amount of time. Marco was responsive and if we wanted to see something in particular, or needed water, he would make it happen. Time just flew and we went on not so busy roads. Wonderful way to see the city. Would recommend.
