Awesome place

This is the second time I have been to the Sky Lagoon. Two years ago, I was there in November, and this year in June. Both times we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the six-step ritual. As a matter of fact, each time we arrived in Iceland, the Sky Lagoon was the first place we visited. The lagoon and its six-step ritual are so invigorating that we had no problem staying up late, despite jet lag.

We had a fantastic evening with Minty as our tour guide. He was humorous and provided lots of background on the food and the history of the foods we were enjoying. Would never have tried this much variety of food in such a short time. We enjoyed one of the restaurants so much we are going back!

We liked the itinerary that all the places we wanted to see. It was a great experience. This was a small group tour, our bus had 14 people which easy to manage. We got lucky to have Monika as our tour guide and driver. She was very organized and knowledgeable. She cracked some jokes sometime. It was funny. We wished the Geyser stop gave more time. This stop included lunch time 1 hour and 20 minutes. It was not enough. This stop was very crowded and busy and popular. Blue lagoon was great but the towel and shower part was disorganized.

Great Tour, fantastic value

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, our guide Unnur was really informative, we were very impressed that all stops were at least partly wheelchair accessible even the waterfall. Our driver, Tomasz, was safe and really helpful at every stop getting the wheelchair out, we would highly recommend this tour and it was about half the price that the ship offered!

Intense and superb

How much can you visit in one day, while still giving you enough time to do things at each site? This tour certainly checked all boxes, and then some more. Our guide Lara took us to all the sites you see listed on the activity, giving us enough time at each place (you know, considering this is a time limited tour). And then because we were ahead of schedule, she added on brief stops at a horse farm, greenhouse, ice cream store. And throughout Lara’s narration was humorous, personal, contextual, and filled with knowledge of Icelandic traditions. I’ve done a lot of Viator tours over the years. This was one of my best experiences.

Great family friendly tour of Snæfellsnes- definitely recommend

Overall fantastic tour of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in Iceland, very dramatic landscapes with waterfalls, volcanic mountains, little rivers, dramatic cliffs overlooking the ocean and seal beaches.The only negative I would say is they are around 10 stops with bathroom breaks and sometimes felt a little rushed some of the areas we could use more times some less so just a little bit of time management concerns. Also because of the time of the tour you should bring a lunch because there is no time to stop for any restaurants on this tour. overall would highly recommend in any tourist should see this area. The guide in the bus driver were very friendly and knowledgeable as well.

A Whale of a time…

Loved this trip and we were successful in seeing whales, humpbacks, moving by us, feeding, showcasing their tails and fins and one whale breached a few times. The crew knew how to find the whales and behaved respectfully near them, for example not overstaying our welcome. It was quite a windy day which caused the boat to periodically rock from side to side with quite a wobble. I found it difficult to move along the deck in these moments, but the crew were extremely helpful. Do not hesitate to book this trip, it is well managed and all staff were helpful, knowledgeable and polite.

Excellent and entertaining tour!

Our tour guide Jonas was awesome! He was amusing, provided great information and even diverged off the plan to stop at a spot of interest I asked him about. This was a highlight for many of the guests! He also extended the trip just a bit so we had more time at the blue lagoon. The sights were amazing!

An Absolute Must Do in Iceland!

This is a MUST DO! Ease of operation with transfers from a nearby bus stop and convenient return trip. Sky Lagoon is a picturesque slice of heaven that you have to experience. The lagoon overlooks the water surrounded by rock walls with a moss covered roof for the 7-step ritual. The sauna inside is the most beautiful one that I have ever seen. The staff direct you through each step of the ritual and then you return to the lagoon for a drink or more time to spend in the warm water. This was an absolute trip highlight and a truly amazing experience!
