What are people saying about Porto

Would book again!
We loved our tour! The morning started off with a meet up that was very well organized despite many different tours pickup location. Our driver was very efficient and safe. Our tour guide was very informative yet also not over consuming of the ride. Overall, it was an exceptional tour for a half day! I think half day tour was enough to ensure we got back to Porto at a decent time to still enjoy our evening- otherwise probably another winery stop would be ideal. What would have made this 10/10 would be just a little cheese and meat sampler to go along with the tastings. Overall, my key take aways are: 1. Have breakfast even though you do make a pit stop for a coffee and snack on the way there 2. There’s no snacks during the tastings so bring some (or buy some) 3. 1 stop only with boat ride so if wanting more than book full day. But expect a later arrival back into Porto. Would highly recommend. We came for our honeymoon and would do it again!

Rocking all ova the World
We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to the Douro Valley. The scenic train ride and boat cruise were wonderful ways to admire the breathtaking views of the steep vineyard terraces lining the riverbanks. The lunch was pleasant, although dining at a vineyard would have been even better.

We had a great experience...
We had a great experience with our Tour Expert Filipe. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. We were in a group of less than 8 people which was excellent as opposed to being in a big bus. The weather was good which made the stops along the coast even better with no fog. I recommend this tour if your visiting the area.

Enjoy the trip a lot
Orlando was an excellent and knowledgeable guide and driver. He walked us through the town, gave us restaurant recommendations before guiding us to the cathedral. He gave very detailed history of the Santiago de Compostela, some local history and an overview of Portuguese history in general.

Ringed by UNESCO-listed rivers, valleys, vineyards, and beaches, Porto is the gateway to some of Northern Portugal’s most sought-after natural sights. Guided Porto day trips reveal lesser-known parts of Portugal—including far-flung villages and towns home to medieval monasteries, Baroque churches, and quaint waterways—and allow you to indulge in the region's world-famous wine without worrying about driving afterward. Plus, Porto’s close proximity to the Spanish border means you can even visit an entirely different country without having to learn the ins and outs of its transit system.
