Fantastic experience. Claudia was the perfect host, making sure we all were comfortable and happy, acting as bartender, and giving us local info such as restaurant recommendations (ask her where to get fresh seafood). She even managed to arrange not only a sunset for us, but she waived her magic wand and managed to conjure a gorgeous moonrise above Porto as well! One of the best experiences I've had in my 6 weeks in Europe. Highly recommend. I will definitely do this again next time I'm in Porto.

An unforgettable sunset river cruise in Porto. Captain Ricardo and host Afonso were outstanding—engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun. They shared fascinating insights about the region while creating a relaxed, lively atmosphere. The views were spectacular, and the entire experience felt seamless. I’d absolutely recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Porto.

My wife and some friends of ours were able to book this activity and really enjoyed seeing the city, the waves splashing up against the jetty, and an amazing sunset. The crew was very friendly and fun to talk to as well. Recommend highly.

Beautiful sailboat ride. First we sailed under the bridges on the Douro River. Then towards sunset, watched the most amazing sunset , while sipping on wine and snacks. Claudia is a great host, very friendly and spent time with all the guests on the boat.

It was overcast and misty then rainy. Nothing anyone could do about it so the captain and deckhand made it enjoyable anyway. The refreshments were perfect we were given blankets and ponchos. We had a delightful cruise on the Douro River. Conditioner did not allow for the full cruise or to reach the Atlantic, but we made it within sight of the sea walls.

It's a waste of 4-5 hours from getting to the boarding marina to returning to the city center after the voyage. Most of the time were cruising up and down the river slowly on engine power. Never used the sail during the entire trip. You can get the same river view experience on a EU20 boat ride and save you a lot of trouble getting to and from the boat dock. Lots of Bolt drivers refuse to go there.

What a beautiful experience soaking in the afternoon while traveling the Douro River. The captain and his mate enhanced this experience with their warmth and upbeat personalities. I was expecting a wonderful photo opportunity and walked away with much, much more.

Wonderful sunset cruise! Beautiful and comfortable boat with a carefully planned trip on the river and then out to the ocean just in time to watch the sunset. Offered Porto tonic, wine, water, or iced tea and bowl of snacks. Also really allow time for rush hour traffic’s and put in Duoro Marina for drop off. Highlight of our stay in Porto!

I am so happy we took this sunset cruise. We got to see Porto from the water and get up close to the bridges. Watching the sunset into the Atlantic was an amazing experience and the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen. Lots of drinks- great service! Clean beautiful boat. Sarah our guide was so informative and friendly and nice! Book now!!! Wear a sweater, they do offer blankets as well.

Great experience, they really take care of you. The drinks and snacks are great. I even spilled red wine on their beautiful white boat and they cleaned up my mess. The views are what this trip is about and they are amazing.

We went as a family of four adults and had an unforgettable experience. The boat itself was beautiful and our guide was fantastic. He was polite, friendly and clearly passionate about Porto. We were offered a couple of drinks and some nibbles, which was just perfect as we watched a stunning sunset and even drifted slightly out toward the Atlantic after a tour around Porto town. It all felt far classier than many of the alternatives, with only ten guests on board, which made it feel wonderfully relaxed and special. Thank you for giving us such great memories!

Unbelievable.
My husband and I flew into Porto and that same day found our way down to the Douro Marina to gate D for our sunset sail. We’re both visiting from Atlanta, Georgia and met a wonderful woman from Chicago. The scenery was beautiful and than you really got to see the streets come to life. Plus our guide Claudia was AMAZING! Loved her spunky persona and how much pride she has of Porto.
Many tourists and locals say the best viewing spot is up on a hill by the Calem caves port winery, you’ll see cable cars to get you up there, but I gotta tell ya, seeing the sunset from the water is so much more immersive. You get to see hundreds of stories unfold around you and as the sun continues to set, we went out into the open ocean and it was just us and the sun. Breathtaking and soul connecting. Highly recommend!

Meeting at the designated area was very easy and straightforward. The crew was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The trip was a perfect mix of Porto history with laid back downtime to take in the views. The crew served drinks and snacks. When the wind picked up as the sun started to set they handed out blankets which was very appreciated. Would highly recommend the experience.

We really enjoyed this cruise. Our guides couldn’t be friendlier and were both very knowledgeable about Porto, the Duoro and the Atlantic. It’s a very chilled out experience but with great views even before you get to sunset. It’s a little further out of the centre than we expected so leave plenty of time to get there!

Great crew. Friendly and knowledgeable. Perfect time allocation for every part of the journey. Captain Rodrigo and first officer Sara were great in every aspect of the activity. We tried their recommended seafood restaurant after the cruise and it was a perfect cap to our night. We very much enjoyed our experience.

What sets this tour apart is that the sunset view is farther out to the sea than any other boat. We were the only ones past the quay and this elevated the experience like nothing else. We saw the iconic orange sunset against the waves then dolphins appeared. The entire experience just got better and better. The crew was amazing (shout out to Sarah!), wine and snacks were included. Small nuggets of history, photos with the Luis bridge AND blankets for the cold sea breeze just made it even better. Definitely 10/10 can’t recommend enough!!
