Lovely day! Pompeii was incredibly informative and the wineries were beautiful . Plenty of food offered, you won’t leave hungry, and the wine was fantastic.

We had Fabrizio for the Pompeii tour and he was wonderful! I’m so glad we did a guided tour. Two hours was just enough time there before lunch, but we would love to come back to spend all day at the ruins. Lunch and wine tasting at Quirinoli was perfect. All the wines were great and paired well with the food, which was delicious. Our second winery was less personal and seemed to run more like a restaurant. They didn’t explain the wines and didn’t really interact with us, except for a very friendly younger man who was working there.
I was impressed by the coordination of everything, as all of us for the Pompeii ruins tour had different afternoon activities planned. Fabrizio got us all on our separate ways and our drivers made sure we got going from point A to point B seamlessly. It was so smooth, we didn’t have to think about it at all.
Before I booked this tour, I read the reviews and had a heads up that one winery may not be the best time, but this was our only opportunity to visit some wineries during our quick trip in Italy and I wanted to make the most of it. Our time at Quirinoli was so good that we would have been satisfied doing only that, so if you are deciding between this tour with one or two winery visits like I was, you’ll be set with just the one. I would give this overall tour 4.5 stars, but it would be 5 stars if the experience at the second winery was more fun.

Had the best experience touring beautiful wineries and trying delicious wines from the vineyards. The Pompeii tour was amazing, and being able to learn so much about the area and see so much for the value was perfect!

We started the day with a fantastic tour of Pompeii. Our guide was amazing – incredibly skilled at bringing history to life and making the experience engaging and memorable. Being in a small group of just 11 people was also a big plus, making the tour feel more personal and relaxed.
After the tour, we continued with wine tastings. The first stop was absolutely wonderful – breathtaking views of Mount Vesuvius, delicious wine and food, and a sommelier who was truly passionate about his craft. A moment we’ll remember for a long time.
Unfortunately, the second wine tasting didn’t quite meet our expectations. It was a bit disorganized, with little follow-up or attention, which slightly dampened the overall impression at the end of the day.
That said, it was still a perfect day filled with highlights and lasting memories. Highly recommended – though some improvement at the final tasting would make it even better.

Lalla was an absolutely amazing guide and so knowledgeable about Pompei. She answered all the questions our group threw at her and did a great job of managing all the personalities in our group. We go to see so many areas of the Pompei site thanks to Lalla’s precise info.

Trip all went smoothly- excellent organisation and communication. Pompeii was phenomenal and lasted the right amount of time- our guide Miriam was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Obviously you can’t see it all in one visit and so definitely will return.
Our visit to the first vineyard was just perfect after the heat of Pompeii. It was a small organic vineyard and Lorenzo was a delight regaling us with wonderful facts and stories as well as supplying us with superb food. An added bonus was having time over lunch to chat with the others in our group - lovely people.
We then had another easy transfer to the second vineyard. My group did not enjoy this so much as it was a much larger, more commercial, operation which lacked the personal touch. We just felt like numbers being put through a process. However have to compliment our guide who worked hard going between three languages in his explanations. We were then transported back to Naples.

Good way to see the ruins without spending a whole day. The wine tastings provided a good way to see the highlights of the ruins while also getting out of the afternoon heat. All of the wineries we visited were excellent.

Very interesting tour of the ruins provided by Vivian. She provided great insight to what it was like to live in Pompeii before the eruption. After the tour Lorenzo drove us to two wineries, entertaining us along the way. Great tours And tastings I highly recommend both

Ciro was the best tour guide we could have gotten. He made us feel like we were in 79 AD. The 2 wineries were amazing and we had a funny driver named Gennarro.

Our Pompeii guide and experience was absolutely amazing. The first winery was perfection. The wine and food were all delicious with wonderful service. It turned out we were the only couple who booked the second winery. It was not good. The wine and food were inferior to any other wine tour I have ever done. The sharing of vans was crazy. While we were one place our driver had taken other people places and dropped them off. We had a bottle of wine stolen from the first winery even though we were told we could leave it on the van. If I had been told the van was shared I would never have left anything on.

This was a great excursion! The ruins at Pompei are unbelievable and the guide was very knowledgeable and provided an excellent tour. Highly recommend wearing closed toed shoes as the description says as there are a lot of dirt “roads” and areas. If you go during the summer, a fan or spray bottle and water will help keep you cool as it does get pretty hot.
The winery visits afterwards were amazing, especially Bosco de’ Medici. They provided a golf cart tour if the winery, delicious food and expert description of the wine by a sommelier. It was one of my favorite experiences that we had in Italy. Only gave it 4 stars because I didn’t particularly love the second winery, but overall it was a wonderful trip!

Our Teresa was amazing through Pompeii. Very informative and comical as well. Our tour guides to the wineries were amazing and made you feel very welcome. Roberto and his son made us feel so welslcome and the whole day was so fun and relaxing. Lots of great history good wine and food and company.

Unfortunately, we missed the tour of Pompeii as we were running late. But the wine tours were amazing! Lorenzo our driver was so kind and knowledgeable. We had such a great time with him. He was a local so gave great tips for the area. Would miss the Pompeii tour again just for him.

We loved every bit of this tour - nothing could have been done differently to make it better. Our Pompeii guide was witty, charismatic, and knew every other guide there. He was able to get us around to the main highlights and share interesting tidbits so we felt we really got a great picture despite only being at the site two hours.
The wineries were incredible. We got dropped off at Bosco De' Medici, where we were happily surprised to find we had a private tour via golf cart (exactly what you want after walking around Pompeii for 2 hours on a hot morning). We were immediately given a frizzante, then had a delightful three-course meal at our own table, with all the wine we could want, where we were supervised by the delightful Vincenzo and Uva the cat.
When we were done, our excellent driver, Mario, whisked us off to Sorrentino for more food and wine. They mostly let us experience the tasting in peace, which is exactly what we wanted at the end of the long day. Our vinter kept reappearing to offer us wine anytime we wanted.
It was a perfect start to our honeymoon.

Teresa, aka Mother Teresa, was funny, witty, entertaining and gave us a full explanation as to why the vendors in the area were peddling phallic symbols. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Pompeii, and had great insight into how Pompeiian society functioned.

The Pompeii tour was great. Theresa gets 5/5! They were super helpful when I was worried I'd be late and our guide was very knowledgeable and humorous.
The first winery, Sorrentino, 2/5. They had no interest in interacting with us and any time I asked a question about the wine, the winery, the history, anything, I was given a very short and insincere response. I was not there to get drunk, I was there to learn about the winery, the wines, the methods, etc and we were given our samples, no conversation and then a price list was dropped off. Would not recommend.
The second winery, Bosco De'Medici, 5/5. We walked in and were immediately greeted with genuine hospitality. We were shown the way the wine is made and explained the process. We were then treated to delicious wine samples, with a conversation about each one, and delicious food. I absolutely felt like their guest and this winery and it was a lovely experience.

The tour of Pompeii was nice. Not to long but not short. Good facts were put out. The wineries were also good. My friends and I had a wonderful time and highly recommend it to anyone.
