Great experience with Askos tours. Our guide archeologist was great , had so much experience and knowledge. The tour lasting 2 hrs flowed well, not rushed . Had opportunity to stay back after the tour if required

There are several entrances. Please check where is the meeting point. Very interesting, good guide. You need several hours to visit Pompei. I recommend a guided tour.

We were late by 20 minutes but Askos Tour were friendly and helpful. They changed our tour to the next available tour booking. Diego was our archeological guide and he was very informational and helpful. Definitely recommend this tour group.

Excellent! Mario was so knowledgeable and helpful. He was also flexible and always checked in with us as to if he was going too or too slow. He was much more of a store teller than just a guide and we enjoyed him very much.

Our Pompeii tour was absolutely amazing! The ruins themselves are breathtaking, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our guide, Rosanna. She was incredibly knowledgeable, bringing history to life with fascinating details and stories. On top of that, she had a great sense of humor that kept the whole group engaged and entertained the entire time. Rosanna managed to make a complex and historic site both easy to understand and so much fun to explore. I can’t recommend this tour—and Rosanna—highly enough!

We were here late, September. Even in this large archaeological area the crowds were overwhelming. We had to wait in lines within the archaeological area to see certain rooms. We did not go see any of the current areas they are digging and uncovering. The number of people in the area often made it difficult to hear through the earphone. The tour indicated we were with an archaeologist, but anyone with a little history of the area could have led the tour.
There is so much more to learn and understand about this area.
I recommend to possibly consider a private tour and to really study about Pompeii before arriving. I gave it a four because it was a fair price and going to the area even with the limited amount of information and time was worth it.

It was so informative. Teresa was our guide and was extremely passionate about pompei, which was very evident. We loved the tour, and when we were back on our ship spoke with others, ours was by far superior.

It was quite costly to have a guide. But this guide in particular was mostly interested in listening to himself. He spoke very slow with a bad Italian accent which made it sometimes hard not te fall asleep. Low interaction. No room for questions and couldn’t answer the questions. This could have been an audio guide

Our guide was knowledgeable and the tour was wonderful! Bring a fan if you are traveling in the summer and a refillable water bottle, water to drink is available from the fountains.

Teresa was our tour guides. Always super friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all questions showed us and explained everything throughout the tour. At the end you can stay and further explore on your own. If you are looking for comprehensive good 2 hour tour this one is great. You should still plan for at least a couples hours on your own if not more. It’s a city hard to see it all in 2-3 hrs.

If I could give a zero star I would. Do not spend your money with this vender. They are an Italian based company and was made aware of a national train strike over 48 hours before the actual strike, but waited to communicate until an hour after the deadline to request a refund. This is blatantly intentional and they collected money for services on rendered. When I attempted to reach out to them and communicate, they were extremely unhelpful and very rude.
