We arrived at the meeting point 15 minutes early as directed. There was no guide there at all. Did not receive any communication prior. There has also been no communication after I tried called and messaging. It is now 6 hours later than the scheduled time and no response. Had to book a tour on site at the train station.

Francesca, our tour guide was so great and engaging. I loved that she talked as we walked so there was not a lot of standing around still in the heat. My 17 year old said this was the best tour we took in Italy (and we took a lot). My only 2 complaints were that I do not care for the radio earpieces because they are very glitchy and as someone with hearing loss they aren’t always clear and when we arrived the Walks of Italy sign was not visible and we had a hard time finding the group.

You’ll learn a lot from this tour.

This was such an incredible tour. Being with a private guide and skipping all the lines was worth every penny. Our guide was Vitelo and he was excellent. We were able to see so many fascinating places that we would have missed otherwise. Highly recommend doing this tour In Pompeii.

Great tour. Would definitely recommend the guided tour. There was only four of us so it made things even better. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative as he was a qualified archaeologist. Truthfully he made the whole trip.

Brilliant tour with enthusiastic and knowledgeable archaeologist guide. Gave insight to pompei and what it would have been like as a foreign sailor arriving before the eruption, the places they would have gone and what it would have been like. We could never have understood pompeii without this tour. Very good value for a small group (15) and amazing the day we went as only 4 of us! We saw lots of huge group tours going round and even with the full 15 this would have been so much better than the standard tours. Highly recommended.
