Fun day and the rain did not stop us!
Great day. Wear comfortable ‘no skid’ shoes. If threat of rain be very prepared as you are exposed to the weather. Tour of Pompeii was exceptional. Our guides Mello and Vincenzo were awesome. Bus was very comfortable and driven very well. Lunch was just okay (We had the fixed menu option). Bring water and snacks. Be careful with bag size as too large of bag will not be allowed in Pompeii.

Needs better bus
A lot of walking in the sun with few breaks. If you're a slow walker (like my wife and I), you miss out on a lot of the commentary as the guide rushes ahead out of Bluetooth range. Not a lot of sitting/resting opportunities but that's Pompeii! Pizza stop was most welcome! Us used for transport was cramped and tiny with small leg room, not suitable when filled with adults.

Pompeii is worth seeing.
Expect a decent amount of walking over cobblestone streets. Dress warmly for the high altitude of Mount Vesuvious.

Excellent trip with a...
Excellent trip with a lovely lunch included. Our guide Pascale was very informative and good fun too. Hats off to Pepe the driver, the road to Mt Vesuvius is a nightmare, but he did it with ease. Overall would highly recommend.
