Great tour! Well organised 😊 our driver (Jack) picked us up at the agreed location exactly on time. The van was well air conditioned which was appreciated 🥵 he took us on a little driving tour around the town of Pompeii so that we weren’t standing too long in the heat. When we met our guide outside the ticket office, it was indeed a small group m, 10 of us in total. He was very knowledgable and passionate about his job. He was a third generation tour guide in Pompeii. It was super hot that day, nearly 40 degrees but he was sure to keep us in the shade as much as possible. After our driver took us right back to the ship. 10/10 Thank you!

We arrived late and we thought we had missed our tour with Lalla. She had helpfully emailed our tickets and sent a photo so that we could catch up with her. The experience was excellent and Lalla made it clear and understandable. We would definitely recommend her to others.

We had a great time with our tour to Pompei. Meeting point was easy to find as well as our tour guide.
We were a small group of 10 and it was perfect. Vivian our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable.

We booked this 2hr tour as we felt 2hrs was adequate considering it was 36 degrees. I am so glad we made that choice. This was a very informative and efficient way to view Pompeii. Our tour guide, Sofia, was lovely. She brought the group together very quickly, was very relaxed, knowledgeable and navigated us brilliantly through the ruins. She had many who were going wine tasting after, as part of the tour and she was very helpful to ensure that, after the 2hrs, we remained inside the site so we could do some exploring ourselves. I had been well warned not to try and view Pompeii without a historical talk. This tour was great value and so easy to book via Viator. They even called us 10 mins before tour began to ensure we could find our group ( our train was slightly late)

Great guide with very interesting infos. One thing to considération, the meeting spot is not accurate. It is across the street where we are suppose to meet the guide.

I can’t say enough about how positive this experience was!!! Our tour guide on April 30 at 10:00 was kind, funny, attentive and so informative!!! She walked us through key parts of the Pompei Archaeological Site with vivid descriptions that transported us back in time. I highly recommend this tour! Our group of six loved it!!!

Wonderful. I visited Pompeii a couple years ago without a guide…. I learned so much this time. It gave meaning and understanding of what we were viewing. Great guide (don’t remember his name) he was wonderful… walked at a good pace, gave meaningful info, pleasant and considerate !

Mena met as at the entry gates. There was a problem with some of the radio head sets but she quickly got the sorted for us. It delayed us a little but we got the time back at the end.
Good explanations of different buildings and their use. Good to start at the port gate as it gave it context to positioning of Pompei at time of eruption. Good time to visit. People about so it felt like a town but not too busy.

Our small-group Pompeii tour was excellent! Only five people made it easy to hear and interact with the guide. The two-hour format was ideal—long enough to cover the fascinating highlights without feeling rushed or overwhelming. A great balance of history, insight, and pace. Reasonable price.

We had a great time on the pompei tour. Lalla was our guide and we met her just by the entrance opposite the meeting point location, we then spent around 2 hours in a small group going round the ruins. Having an actual guide there really meant we got to appreciate and understand exactly what we were looking at and Lalla did an amazing job at talking us through everything and answering any questions the group had, and her passion for the city really showed. Once our tour was done Lalla made sure to give us some tips of things to see in the ruins independently and gave us a map with annotations! Really attentive and helpful, so then we spent another couple of hours exploring and seeing some of the other areas of pompei and then exited by the arena for a 10 minute walk back to the main station. Pompei is definitely a must-see but having a guide like Lalla made the experience much more informative and even more enjoyable

Great experience touring and learning so much about a remarkable historic site. Our guide was knowledgeable, clear, patient, well organized and kept us well and on pace in a group of 10. All around a great experience, Pompeii should NOT be done without a hood guide, there is so much history and so many secrets in this incredible place.

This is a wonderful tour! The guide was friendly, engaging, very knowledgable and taught us so much about the history of Pompeii and the people that lived there. The directions about where to meet were very clear and it was so easy to find the guide and start our tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to visit Pompeii!
