The pacing was perfect for the heat — steady, comfortable, and efficient — and we covered a huge amount of the grounds while still having energy left to explore afterward. The tour was excellent - Tonia (Tonya) did an amazing job explaining the ruins, the history, and ancient homes. As for the hike up Mt Vesuvius, yes there was some effort to walk up (the bus takes you around half way up), but Mario made the trip fun and exciting explaining things along the way to give us a few much needed breaks. The views near the top were just unreal!!

Wonderful your with an expert guide. I didn’t love the type of audio earpieces they used compared to other excursions I’ve been on but that’s just a minor issue. I would recommended that they move to the more traditional headphone connection in the future.

This was such an incredible tour. Being with a private guide and skipping all the lines was worth every penny. Our guide was Vitelo and he was excellent. We were able to see so many fascinating places that we would have missed otherwise. Highly recommend doing this tour In Pompeii.

Antonino was the best experience we had on our visit to Naples. He picked us right up from our hotel and gave us a knowledgeable tour of both Pompeii and Herculaneum. My wife is not the history buff that I am so he took care to not overdo it. I can honestly say we would not have had as easy and enjoyable of time if it wasn’t for him. I would recommend Antonino to anyone wanting the full archeological tour experience. He even dropped us off at the port afterwards so we could board our ferry to the next adventure.

They were curious, excited, and fully immersed from start to finish. Out of everything we experienced on this trip, this was the tour we’ll be talking about for years. My husband and I had a wonderful time learning some history, science, and archeology from our tour guide. He was very open to and knowledgeable about the questions we had. We would have loved to explore the whole space with our guide but when our tour was finished, he helped send us in the direction we were interested in continuing to explore. I would highly recommend!
