Highly recommended tour!

Excellent tour! Our group was a bit worn out after touring Herculaneum earlier that day, so we asked Eliana if we could condense our Pompeii visit to 90 minutes. Not only was she flexible, but she also saved the day when I realized I only had a voucher instead of actual tickets. She graciously helped us navigate the ticket office (pro tip: buy directly from the official Pompeii site!) despite the time crunch. Eliana quickly pivoted and curated a 'greatest hits' route that covered every major area. We were especially in awe of the new house and bakery her team is currently excavating—truly fabulous stuff! She is personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and answered every question we had. Highly recommend!

Once-in-a-lifetime experience

This experience was, by far, the most interesting and informative one I have ever participated in. From the moment he picked us up until he dropped us off (9 hours later--which flew by, frankly), our guide Antonino engaged all 4 of us in an interactive discussion of Pompei, Mt. Vesuvius, and Herculaneum. He had amazing graphics and photos on his tablet to provide visual representations and had a warm sense of humor and delight as he explained what we were seeing and answered every question in a clear and accessible way. His passion and knowledge were stellar. As I told him at the end: "This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us and you were a once-in-a-lifetime guide."

Good tour

This is a very exertional hike up Mt Vesuvius and the uneven ground in both locations are challenging for anyone with mobility issues. However, it was great day, the archaeologist was very informative and the hiking guide very cautious and attentive. It was basically like two different tours and after the archaeologist left us in the ruins area, we had to find our way back to the front, try to find food and restrooms on our own before meeting the afternoon hike guide.

This tour with Romolo was truly incredible, and without a doubt, the absolute highlight of our time in Pompeii! If you’re visiting Pompeii and have the chance to tour with him, take it. No hesitation. Romolo was exceptional. His knowledge is deep and fascinating, but what really makes him stand out is how he brings everything to life. You’re not just walking through ruins, you’re stepping into stories, history, and moments that suddenly feel real and vivid. His energy is contagious, and he has an incredible way with people, especially kids. Keeping children engaged in Pompeii is no easy task, yet he had them completely hooked the entire time. They were curious, excited, and fully immersed from start to finish. Out of everything we experienced on this trip, this was the tour we’ll be talking about for years. Exceptional experience for our family

Our tour guide Lello was exceptional. He brought Pompei to life for my 8 and 10 year old children and my husband and I leant so much to. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Great 2hr tour of Pompei ruins!

My husband and I had a wonderful time learning some history, science, and archeology from our tour guide. He was very open to and knowledgeable about the questions we had. We would have loved to explore the whole space with our guide but when our tour was finished, he helped send us in the direction we were interested in continuing to explore. I would highly recommend!
